Milwaukee Bucks

Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't Packer related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

Maybe not, but he can be the alpha that keeps this team winning until Giannis gets back.

Find me a split like this in NBA history. 35 first half points. 0 second half points. Weird.

Sounded like the Pacers really focused on him in the 2nd half (I didn't see it).

I did not expect the Bucks to do well in this series. Hope they can keep it up.

Didn’t watch any of the second half, but I was super confused reading the box score this morning and seeing his total points.

For as bad as the Pacers shot the ball in game one, they were the opposite in game two. They were hitting everything, it seemed. Every time the Bucks closed the scoring gap, the Pacers responded. I'm not sure the Bucks win that game last night even with Giannis in the lineup. The Pacers just played really well.

Dame was, again, fantastic though. Middleton, too. Just wasn't enough.

Side note: AJ Green is terrible. The only time that mfer can hit his shot is when the Bucks are already up 20 points. Outside of that, he may as well work construction as a bricklayer. He's a complete momentum killer in close games.

Day 2 needs to start so I can stop watching this. Dame to the locker room, Bucks look awful, Pacers can't miss.

I'll watch today's Bucks Pacers game. It's a dreary Sunday.

I keep reading how the Bucks want to be very careful with Giannis and his strained calf and not bring him back until he's fully ready to play. I also read the player comments backing this approach and speaking to a need for others to step up in his, and now Dame's, absence. Blah blah blah...

And then I see Jamal Murray talk the Denver staff into allowing him to play - insisting, actually - despite his own calf strain injury and he leading them to victory with 32 pts to include a last second game winner.

So I guess my question is this: what further injury are the Bucks and players protecting Giannis from that wouldn't heal over the course of the next several months of off-season anyway? I mean, FFS, are they saving him so that he's ready to go for summer league play?? I mean, it's do-or-die time and the Bucks are still treating it as if it's still the regular season playing out.

Shaping up to be another early exit from the playoffs despite the star-power lineup assembled. What a disappointment.

The Bucks are in those 2015-2018 years of the Packer dynasty.

Might get a nice run in there we probably shouldn’t make because Giannis wills us there. But barring we can keep Giannis, probably need to do a quick 1 year clean the books and retool type of year.

I agree, but to answer your question, I think the big fear is he goes out and blows his achilles. That is not healing over the course of the next several months. Unfortunately, it seems like another snake-bitten year.

Gutty win last night. They played with purpose, aggression, and never let up. Great win.

Now go get two more!

Middleton is criminally underrated (when healthy).
