I think Aiyuk is giving the 9ers the Davante treatment. I’m typically on the players side when you have a Davante like talent. If a player is truly one of the best in the league they should be paid like it and before they’re due to keep up with the market. Aiyuk is good but he isn’t great.

Yeesh. What an awful start to a career. I fully believe the Vikings planned to start Darnold a month or so and move right into JJ being the guy. I wonder if they bring in another vet right away to compete with Darnold. Darnold is an awful QB who has never had any success and hasnt been able to hack it on 3 different teams now.

wow that is massive. What a shame for him. I never root for anyone to get hurt. And I liked the kid.
Now, as for Vikings fans, I am absolutely delighted for this.

For a fan base that celebrated the injury of Rodgers, it’s very fitting this happened to them.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑14 Aug 2024 13:13wow that is massive. What a shame for him. I never root for anyone to get hurt. And I liked the kid.

Ah, no. That's more myth than fact. I don't know of any Viking fans who celebrated that.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑14 Aug 2024 13:20For a fan base that celebrated the injury of Rodgers, it’s very fitting this happened to them.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑14 Aug 2024 13:13wow that is massive. Looks like former Packer, Rudy Ford finally found some work. Off to Carolina with the speedy Safety

It was literally the first clip of Barr's retirement hype video. If you don't know of any fan who celebrated it, you must know zero Viking fans.Raptorman wrote: ↑14 Aug 2024 13:44Ah, no. Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."

It was also all over Twitter. Skololol-land was absolutely giddy with the injury. Give me a break, Raptor.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑14 Aug 2024 15:10It was literally the first clip of Barr's retirement hype video. I was at that game. Played tippy cup with Jordy's dad at a pre-game. Fans were giddy all game long and on the train ride back to the mall.

He had a fine season last year. He was a guy I would have been in on if we didn’t do the lords work at the safety position this year.
