Packers are a top 5 defense.

Our field goal kicker is over 85% on the season.

Now that's ultra bold!

What's the prediction on the opening offensive play? Jacobs run, Checkdown to Musgrave? Bomb to Watson or Wicks? I'd like to see a 4 wide alignment with a hand-off to Jacob's. Keep the Eagles on their heels all night!

My gut feeling is a negative and a positive. I think the Packers offense does not steamroll the league like everyone thought. I don't think it's going to be "bad", but I think there will be some tough games where Love and the offense struggle.

The positive is that I think this is finally the year where the Defense carries us! And I do think we take 2nd in the division to the Lions, but go into the playoffs as the team no one wants to face, the offense is starting to gel, and we have a legit top defense in the league.

Very similar to 2010.

I agree. I too think our offense starts off slower than our fans will want and there will be hand ringing but I also think they will pick up toward the end of the year.

Bold:

- Packers defense is top 5 by the end of the season
- Josh Jacobs gets 1,600 yards (combined)

Ultra Bold:

- Packers make it to the Super Bowl
- Jordan Love is MVP

Obvious:

I will go off the rails no less than 3 times during the season, proclaiming this is a failed experiment by _______ (pick any coaches name) and the season is lost.

You don't know how bad I want the Super Bowl to be Packers vs Jets with the Packers winning via a Rodgers INT in the final moments.

How about the Packers have 3 WRs/TE :aok: to have over 950 yards this season.

I return to the Huddle.

Jordan Love wins MVP.

During a short Love injury, MW plays 1.5 games with a QB rating above 100, with two wins.

The Packers add starting talent before the deadline and go on to win the SB.

Bears and Vikings fight over the 1st pick with 2-15 seasons for both of them

Packers and Lions fight over the NFC North title with 15-2 seasons for both of them.

Packers beat the 49'ers in the playoffs in a blowout

Very possible. I'm not sure how the defense or Darnold will play. But then it depends more on the defense than Darnold in my book. Look at the Vikings last 4 games last season 27, 30, 33 and 30 points given up on defense. Hard to win like that.

Yup. It's hard for Raptor to say what he said while his Vikes are rebuilding this year. They could surprise and beat da Bears out of the cellar. Maybe.

The D starts the season full of motivation. Finds a lull in midseason. Comes back in November and finishes well.

The O starts slow, but by mid-October is virtually unstoppable. That's enough to win 14 games.

The ST is, well, improved. sigh.

:-)

Watson and Doubs and Reed combine for 250 catches, 2500 yards, and 25 TDs.
