I considered hitting him with the “I know you are but what am I” line.

Anyways. Back to Jordan Love. I wonder how much mobility they’re going to have him use. Will he be under center still or be more in the pistol? Those videos look like he’s moving quite well.

As for how long his injury “should” take…no idea!!
But GB knows it’s a long season. Super long. You don’t want Love dealing with this all year like Rodgers did that one year when he got hurt in week one against bears and came back after half drugged and whipped em. He hardly practiced that year giving it maintenance and was sloppy on Sundays.
I could see the packers waiting until he’s basically pain free and maybe even swelling free if that can be achieved in two more weeks, we don’t want him even thinking about the knee as a problem when he is out there.
This team is going to be good. We need 1000% healthy Jordan Love. As for the injury and any poor play he might have had, I 100% just blame Brazil. He didn’t trust the footing and was doing weird stuff with his calves all night.
He will light it up state side when healthy

Jordan Love will reportedly be active for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday for their Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Love has missed the last two games after spraining the MCL in his left knee in Week 1's loss in Brazil to the the Philadelphia Eagles. He was listed on Friday's injury report as questionable.
The initial timetable for Love to return was set at 3-6 weeks, but his progress has allowed him to return soon and will reportedly see him wear a knee brace for extra protection.
GO PACKERS!!

He has to be better. He was bad against the Eagles and bad against the Vikings. His accuracy was always a weak spot, but someone the switch flipped last year around week 8. This year the switch is back off. Hurts had something similar happen between 2021 and 2022, and now has regressed in that area. If Love doesn't return to being an accurate passer, he is not the long term answer despite his contract.

Love had some rust to knock off and it showed in Q1 after that he was pretty good outside of the poor 1 on 1 pass the was intercepted. I can't honestly say he was bad throughout that entire game. His accuracy depends on his feet and he struggled with trusting the knee early on in the game. It got better.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
Way too early to start talking like that. Rodgers also had some brutal starts to the year and some pretty bad stretches too. Won't even get into Favre his second year.wallyuwl wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 10:10He has to be better. He was bad against the Eagles and bad against the Vikings. Love has the talent, the arm, and the brains. Missing 2 weeks immediately after Week 1 made it real difficult. He'll get in a rhythm.
Yep, more rust than I anticipated and more gimpy than I anticipated. Holding him back longer was not going to help in the rust department and as beat up as he was throughout that game, he appeared to make it through no worse for wear. I still think this offense is a sleeping juggernaut. Let's give it a week or two here, yet.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 10:16Love had some rust to knock off and it showed in Q1 after that he was pretty good outside of the poor 1 on 1 pass the was intercepted. Replace the kicker in the meantime.

Great prognostic. Let's see if Jordan can excel vs. the Texans next Sunday. I'll be there rooting for another MVP performance. Tough competition considering how well Josh Allen and Lamar and Mahomes are playing. And the Lions Goff.NCF wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 10:51Yep, more rust than I anticipated and more gimpy than I anticipated. I hope he's ready in case Malik goes down. That's how I see it anyway. But WTF does Ringo know half the time.

If Jordan starts and plays the entire game ............. this'll be a make it or break it statement game for Jordan. NO EXCUSES!! None of this 3 interceptions garbage.
My head is with Malik this week. This week my heart is with Jordan. FYSA in case anyone is wondering.
I have little confidence that LaCoach knows what he's doing right now. Hafley needs to step up as well. Bisaccia might as well start over. Thankfully we have McKinney and Cooper to dazzle on defense. It is time for the offense to dazzle as well. Not just Kraft and Jacobs.
