From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
He liked it, alright, but he's kinda painful to listen to as far as analysis is concerned. He sounds more like a fanboy play-by-play announcer, telling you what you already can see for yourself, rather than offering actual insights as a former Packer QB with insider knowledge of concepts and tendencies.
Benkert could take a lesson from JT O'Sullivan with developing his product.
JT is one of the best at play eval and diagnostics, I bet if Sam was still here Sullivan would have a sticky post with his updates loading automatically each week RIP JJ
Unfortunately JT doesn't cover Love every week, as he's doing his videos on notable/interesting performances on QBs all around the league.
I think JJ woulda LOVED to watch Mike Wahle, who goes into great detail with great knowledge, takes his time analyzing stuff I had no hope of seeing with my uneducated eyes, and isn't spooked of criticizing Packers, and I love it when he points out bad snaps of players who seemed to have great games. I only wish he'd upgrade his camera and mic, as technical quality is stone age vs JT's cutting edge.
He's also extremely quotable, like this week: "Jeff Hafley, so far everything points to "why didn't we hire you 3 years ago?"". I also loved that he said the Cards' secondary should go on strike, 'cause the 4 man pressure was terrible and the DC didn't even try to adjust.
I only got to watch the game on my iPhone this week. I took my wife to the Bronco / Charger game. Seemed like every time I turned around we scored on the Cards. Great domination.
Seems like there is real improvement every week so far and that is good!
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
