So, @Raptorman, about that Stafford vs Darnold comparison...?

;)
What about it? Darnold still has twice as many TDS as Stafford. And, no, I wouldn't want to swap them. Which was the whole point of the Trade rumors. My prediction. The Rams will split the next 6 games, the Vikes will go 4-2. Packers will split their next 6.
The Packers have a killer stretch right here. Splitting wouldn't be the end of the world, but I will say 4-2 and they pick up a high quality win or two. The Vikings, OTOH, do not have a killer stretch right here. 6-0 is well within their reach and if I were you, I would be awfully disappointed with a 4-2 stretch given their schedule.
The Packers will lose a game that everyone thinks they should win. The Funny thing is Vikings fans on the board I'm on are upset over the Rams loss. Yet most of them only had the Vikings winning 7-8 games on the season. What the hell? You picked them to win 8, which means 9 losses and now bitch about them being 5-2. I guess after watching my team blow it for 58 years in a row I've become numb to the losses.

I think Sam Darnold is as good as Tom Brady.
Not quite. But, Brady still isn't as good as most people think.

This Kansas City team just keeps finding ways to win, but they are really starting to put out some Green Bay 2011 vibes.
The offense of the 2024 (6-0) Chiefs, after losing their top WR and other offensive contributors like RB Pacheco, does sort of remind one of the (15-1) 2011 Packer defense, which lost Nick Collins and was not very good overall.

Of course once key difference between the 2011 Pack and the 2024 Chief teams is that KC has a GM who is not opposed to looking outside the team's own building to add talent to his roster such as Kareem Hunt and now it looks like DeAndre Hopkins. Would not shock me if KC added another piece before the trade deadline.

Don't know that adding these veterans in hopes of winning their third straight Super Bowl victory will work for KC, but I do admire their GM for not just always standing pat.
The Chiefs, with the 5th best scoring D in the NFL, are shipping a 6th rounder to NE for a pass rusher Josh Uche.

Have no idea if it will help them to another Super Bowl victory, but definitely take note that the Chiefs do not hesitate to trade draft picks for players.

Not seeing the 4-3 Bears on that list. Is that intentional because they still suck?

Packers can range from being the #1 seed to the #7 seed, depending if we win or lose against Detroit.

Please, GM Aaron Rodgers, you know you wanna give Nervy Narvy a chance! :rotf:

Meanwhile, Panthers trade some WR.

Vikings with a possibly very smart move, trading for a stop-gap OT, since Darrisaw is out for the season.

Robinson is in the last year of his contract. Interesting to see the details.

Lions' already suspended WR Jameson Williams is in more hot water, getting caught carrying a concealed gun without a license.

Also Detroit PD is getting flak for an apparent Lions fan sergeant not arresting Williams at the scene. Williams managed to not only play the "don't you know who I am?" -card, but also to diss the city he plays for...

PFT:

"On October 8, Williams was a passenger in a car his brother was driving. The vehicle was pulled over, for speeding. Two guns were in the car; one was registered to Williams’s brother, and one was registered to Williams.

Williams’s brother had a concealed pistol license, and Williams didn’t.

The body camera footage shows Williams repeatedly telling the officer that he plays for the Lions. Eventually Williams said this: “I got the gun for protection. Do you guys know where I live at? Detroit!”

Williams was handcuffed and put in the back seat of a squad car. After a supervisor arrived at the scene (a sergeant whose cell-phone wallpaper is a Lions logo), calls were made and Williams eventually was released. The sergeant can be heard saying to the arresting officers, “I’m so mad at you two.

The Lions issued a statement to WXYZ on Tuesday: “Jameson made us aware immediately that he was a passenger in a routine traffic stop on October 8th. We discussed the incident with him and have kept the league informed of what we know. We understand he was released without incident or citation. It is now our understanding that the Detroit Police Department is revisiting the matter. Jameson has hired an attorney, and we will not be commenting further out of respect for the legal process.”

Williams will be facing both prosecution by authorities and a potential suspension by the league.

Last year, Williams was suspended for violating the league’s gambling policy.”
