Preston Smith being traded.

Good move to trade Preston IMO. Hes old and one of our worst contracts on the team. LVN and Enagbare need to be on the field more. Mosby looks good too.
Cancelled by the forum elites.

I think we'll be ok, but Preston is a guy I wanted to win a Super Bowl here. Another guy that is impossible for me to cheer against, gone to another team. I understand it, but still sad to see him go.

I didn't like trading Sul this time last year, but I do agree with this move. Smith is okay but on the decline, probably not going to be here very long, and pricey. Nice to get out of the contract. We also need to get the other guys out there more, too, if not because of their play then for eval.
We also didn't choose an awful destination for him to land up so I don't feel like we wronged him. He probably didn't want to be traded, but there are much worse outcomes if you are.

Any idea on the terms of the trade?

7th round pick. He wasn't fitting the 4-3 as well and his snap counts were going down.

why bother reading something important, everyone would be interested in, then fail to share.

I did share it. Preston Smith for a 7th rounder. Learn to read. Don't be a $%@# turd.

We are now 7 minutes away from a majority of the forum pretending adding a piece or two would not help put this team over the hump as all. 7 minutes from seeing majority of contenders take part in a mini arms race for cheap help, as we actually give a piece away for a 7.
Can’t wait to watch it all unfold!

Lions win and trade peanuts for a pass rusher
Packers lose, get no pass rush, and trade a pass rusher.
Can’t make it up lol

Dillon the RB is on the IR.Pugger wrote: ↑05 Nov 2024 09:21I don't think we can trade Dillard while he is on IR?Cdragon wrote: ↑04 Nov 2024 09:24Okay how about addition through subtraction. Trade Wicks along with Dillard for some D. On the supposition that we have a packed receiver room and they might benefit by getting more reps. A little jolt might wake up the others.
Wicks has the worst hands. Somebody will still want him to get their QB a target. Somebody will always say they can fix him. And they might be able to. Somebody will have a spot for Dillard. Somebody is going to think I can save my job if I get our O moving somewhat.
Move them both for somebody who can help us on Defense.
Did we get anything for him?
N/M. I see we got a draft pick.

Get off your lazy retired ass and get your own. What the $%@# more do you want? Preston was traded for a 7th rounder. You are a $%@# turd.
