Vikes 2022 4th round CB cut in a surprise move. Started 15 games last season, almost no playing time this year.

@Raptorman what's the intel on this dude? Scouting reports had him as only good in zone, and good athleticism with running 4.46 at 6-2.

Well, he's not a starter. I haven't heard his name much and I this is the first I heard of it. Major roster crunch? What does that even mean?

7 PD, 3 FF, and a pick in 2023. Elite size and really good athlete. I’d take a flyer.

I e never stopped calling them the Redskins. My entire life any utterance of Redskins meant people were talking about a football team in DC.

And then the SJW came along

Saquon with a casual 302 yards and 2 TDs, including 255 rushing yards for a 9.8 rushing average. :hail:

Meanwhile in NY...

Couple of points from me on the Redskins logo.

1. The classic logo is way better looking. The classic Redksins uniforms are just sharp. They look good. They scream NFL. The new ones don't.

2. I'm glad they are getting support of the tribe and more importantly it would be really, really if a portion of the revenue went directly to a tribal foundation.

3. The woke movement appears to have been wrong on this. Myself included. Probably didn't help that Dan Snyder was the voice of the Redskins at the time as his communication skills and public persona are terrible.

4. Sounds like they will still call themselves the commanders? Think Warriors would make more sense if they go to the old logo if the Redskins term is off the table.

When you think about the dumpster fire that the Giants organization is, and then remember they had both Saquan and X on the roster just last year and were forced let them walk away because they had resigned Daniel Jones to a huge QB deal, then you begin to truly understand what mismanagement looks like.

But, yeah, 8-3 Gutebumst is terrible because he sat on his hands and didn't overpay for a middling CB or pass rusher before the trade deadline. :aok:

second-guessing, but after listening to Andy Herman, Guty didn't draft several he could of who rank in the 70 range at PFF as rookies now, versus taking Hopper or even Lloyd, obviously, no GM gets every pick right, but we were thin at CB, He nailed Evan Williams, Bullard, Cooper, I guess I can't expect him to completely over haul the back 7 in one draft class, shucks :)

For whatever reason, QB Daniel Jones signs with Minny's practice squad. :idn:

I guess he's auditioning in case Darnold leaves next offseason, and JJ McCarthy isn't ready. They may get rid of either Nick Mullens or Brett Rypien and save a spot on 53.

Darnold is only signed for this year. They never expected him to be there longer than that. I and many other Vikings fans don't expect him back. The Jones signing, that's interesting. Good insurance for the future? Who knows. Maybe Jones sees it as an opportunity to learn. Not like he needs the money. Here's the funny part. Jones wasn't the worst QB in the league.
