Wow. Matt can't even be the best coach in history first 6 seasons?

What a prissy LaCoach.

plus he'll never shake the reputation of a coach overly concerned with trimmed eyebrows, that kind of stuff sticks to a coach like ..... :rotf:

Yeah, LaFlower is BARELY in top ten in all time winning percentage. Alas, barely better than Halas. :idn:

Did you notice the opposing HC's nose was redder than Rudolph's, while LaFloor was looking prissy as ever? :tiphat:

Those of you who still get upset when MLF chooses to receive at the coin toss, take note:

MLF clearly likes to grab a lead and run with it.

I believe we have scored first 10 of 12 games as well.

from reddit

The Packers are 4-1 since bringing on Robert Saleh as a consultant. The Jets are 1-5 since firing him.

I've mentioned "Point Differential" on many occasions here - its simply the delta between points scored and points allowed.
Over the course of an NFL season, its a very good predictor of the best teams.

The Packers are starting to roll and currently are ranked # 4 in the NFL in point differential at 78.
Bills, Eagles, Lions are ahead of GB and that's it. For some context, the 13-4 Packers of 2021 had a point differential of 79

One of the stats I like to look at for the offense is the ratio of 1st downs and 3rd downs. When an offense is highly efficient, they don't always need a 3rd down to move the chains- they go 1st down, 2nd down, 1st down, 1st down - while an offense that is struggling, will need a 3rd down every time in order to gain another set of downs

Currently, the GB Packers are at 55.7 % of their first downs end up with a 3rd down. That's really quite good
The benchmark 2011 offense was at 53.1 % of their 1st downs required a 3rd down to move the chains

As far as converting 3rd downs, the 2024 Packers have some work to do, coming in a 38 % success rate so far in 2024
The 2011 offense converted 3rd downs at a 48 % rate

Random thought: Man, I sure wish Musgrave can recover in time for the playoffs.

Kraft is great, but Sims and FitzPatrick are utterly invisible. LaFleur can scheme without Musgrave, but I bet he'd have a host of plays that include his talent.

What's Musgrave's injury anyway? I haven't a clue. I just know he's been out a while.

Ankle, no specifics. Had surgery on it early November, got injured in the Vikings game.

LaFleur: “He will hopefully be back later this season"
