I don't believe the bears job is the best job for him and that's what I'll tell him when he calls me to ask for input.
Find the right GM. Find a coach who aligns with the GM. Give it time and patience. Build through the draft. Support your GM and HC when things look terrible.
That was pretty much the Sheila Hamp model.
In fact I think the Bears is a very, very coveted job. They have their Franchise quarerback who looks like he can be something. They have a great and young defense. Great WR and are losing games they could be winning.
They will be a top 10 draft team in 2025 and they have loads of cap space.
I can't imagine a better team to go as a head coach.
