This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.

Line movements are settling in at Packers minus 14

https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/matchu ... movements/

You've got a huge fan base in GB and a small one backing NO.
You are also taking an "indoor cat" and sending them to the Frozen Tundra in December
Starting a new guy in Spencer Rattler at QB
The lack of talk in this thread is a clear reflection on how little worried we are about this game... Hope LaFleur finds a way to keep their minds on the task.

Injury front looking nice:

Do you know when can Musgrave be active to play?

Get an early lead fast and put Willis in to dominate.
I like the idea (putting in Willis) but past recent history suggests Lafleur won't budge. Irritating as he'll. Willis is trustable.
Unless we get a big lead MLF won't pull Love. We can't afford to take any team lightly right now. It is going to be difficult to get the top WC seed and we have the Commanders nipping at our heels. Nothing is guaranteed here.

He's eligible to return now. They just gotta activate him.

He has to be put on active roster by Jan 1st, the end of his 21-day practice window, or he'll go on IR for rest of the season.

If he is ready get him some snaps. :munch:

Warren Sharp's breakdown of Packers-Saints

https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/f ... ibar-2024/

The Packers have led by double-digits for a league-high 33.6% of their offensive snaps.
The Packers have scored first in 11 games this season, tied with the Texans for the league lead.

The Saints are the only team without a win this season when trailing at any point (0-9).
Since Week 7, games involving the Saints average 38.4 combined points per game, the fewest in the league.

The Saints are 0-7 against teams with a winning record.
The Packers are 7-0 against teams with a losing record.

Green Bay has a 9-1 record outside of their division this season, tied with Minnesota for the best record in the league.
The Packers have led by double-digits for a league-high 33.6% of their offensive snaps.

Spencer Rattler:
The Saints appear to be returning to Rattler after he entered the game and put them in a position to nearly complete a comeback against Washington on Sunday. While the Saints were a two-point conversion away from fulfilling that comeback attempt, Rattler was still only 10-of-21 (47.6%) for 135 yards (6.4 Y/A) with a touchdown.

The Packers are 11th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.392).

Rattler is QB40 in passing points per attempt (0.269).

Assuming that we open an early lead, it's important to not just maintain momentum, but also BUILD momentum toward January. Late December is a time when very good teams need to take a step forward. And I think that GB is one of the top five teams at this point.

We need to put the pedal to the metal and don't look back.

Thing is, I don't know a single person who believes that this squad has played its best game yet, including some of the players who have said so.

Building towards bulldozing our way through Minneapolis after the Monday Night win over the Saints, signifying and exemplifying the Packers best game so far.

The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

I hope we don’t get caught looking ahead to next week’s game. Stay focused, Packers.

Which has been moved to the late afternoon slot of 3:35 CST.
I came into this world KICKING and screaming, naked, and covered in blood that wasn't mine.
I am prepared to go out the same way if I need to.

Even if you are looking ahead under no circumstances should this team put up more than 17 on us. They have a backup rookie QB. They have a backup RB. They have nothing at WR worth a damn. Their OL is in shambles. This should be a cheek clapper.

A lot of unknown players, for most of whom there probably is very little tape. Big game next week. I just don't want any BS. I'm fed up with dumb &%$@ as a fan. No stupid &%$@ here, Packers. Please.
