That didn’t take long.

Lost the 1st pick by winning too.

Welcome back to NE vrabel.
Pretty obvious why they made the move now.

This is a mild surprise. I didn't think their offense was that bad. Smith performed about as well as you'd expect and JSN broke out. DK underwhelmed but dude is a headcase anyway.
Jags fire Doug Pederson. Keeping the GM Baalke

If I was aa team in need I would be all over this. I really think Pederson got the short end of the stick with a really bad Jags team. Some will say he never developed Lawrence. I never thought Lawrence was that great of a QB prospect.

Couldnt go into the next season with that DC. Their defense was so bad this year there was no other decision to be made.

So which teams are now looking for a new HC? Off the top of my head I have:
1. Chicago Bears
2. New England Patriots
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
4. NY Jets
I know the Giants have committed to Daboll another year. Jerruh still has MM dangling by a rope.
Is that all of them?
That list is also how I rank them as far as most to least desirable for a new HC to step into.

Missing the Saints. They are -78 million in cap space for 25.APB wrote: ↑06 Jan 2025 19:42So which teams are now looking for a new HC? Off the top of my head I have:

NE has 131 million in cap space for 25.

Yeah, add them to the list at #5.

Good lord the Bears are really the hottest coaching gig in the league. I wouldn’t touch NYJ, Jacksonville, NE, and worst of all NO. Those are 4 garbage rosters so far off. Kind of surprised to see Antonio Pierce still in charge of Vegas to be honest.

MM is not a good HC. Neither are many of the former HC's that are looking for a job now. But NONE of them, NONE of them are dumb enough to have ruined Watson's career. None of them are dumb enough to have made that decision. But MLF did. He should be fired.
2 straight post of insufferable insanity, if your healthy, you play, enough with resting healthy players, and if Watson gets hurt every other week, it's good to know so we can replace him, the kid is glass.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑07 Jan 2025 03:35MM is not a good HC. and all coaches are human beings, and humans are prone to mistakes, MLF isn't going anywhere

I feel really bad for Watson. He's a great kid, works hard, does what is asked etc. But his body just isn't made for football. I wish him well, but I don't see how he has a career any more. But beyond that, I'd rather have his knee go out before preparations begin for the playoff game, than during the playoff game. People are acting like MLF's decision to play him blew his knee out and what they don't understand is, that knee was going to blow soon no matter what apparently. a week off wasn't going to make it more healthy, connective tissue doesn't work like that when damaged.
The way that thing went it could have been shorts and helmets walk thru before the game on Sunday and then we'd be scrambling to adjust the offense to a guy that was supposed to be featured and now isn't available.

exactly, feel bad for Watson, but also realize that we still have a game to play, just hate to see a injury like that, but we now know that he wont be playing, we have to game plan to win without him, simple as that.musclestang wrote: ↑07 Jan 2025 05:53I feel really bad for Watson. McCarthy to Chicago makes a ton of sense, actually. He's one of those steadying ships who can work with Caleb and improve his process, get the team headed in the right direction, establish a culture, and then probably move on. But a team like Chicago can take a limited ceiling for a franchise reset
