If I’m a vetting man we take a CB in the 1st and a WR in the 2nd. I think they will look to add to edge in FA.

This organization has shown they don’t give a shot about offensive players in the first round unless it’s an OT or a QB. I think they’ll want to move on from Jaire sooner than later but with the current group you really just don’t have the bodies to do it.
Well now we need 2 WR's in the early rounds. Doubs could not have found the locker room nor walked to it without help. Odds are he is never playing football again.

I suspect you’re taking your forum name a bit too serious.

Shoot. Tampa won which means our draft pick goes down a slot.

Had to have meant lost. Had Tanpa won we would be picking 23rd. Now we pick 24th depending on what happens tomorrow.

Need the Rams to win.

Lol. Everything was correct except "won"

I believe we are now the 23rd pick. If LAR loses tonight we will be the 24th pick and last Wildcard Round team to select

Draft slot don't matter Rd 1. We will get cute there anyways.

But it is nice to have better draft capital Rd 2 - 4

Oh great. Kyren Lacy turns himself him for potential vehicular homicide. I was sure that guy was going to be the next great LSU WR prospect in the NFL. That takes one off the board.

Early draft crush is the Texas corner, Jahde Barron, looks like he will be a good one.

I want the Texas WR Matthew Golden. Really interested tosee if he really is 6' and if he can run fast. The guy has great hands and runs routes really well. Some more development to his release off the line and he is going to be a star.

Other guy I want is James Pearce, edge from Tennessee.

I saw that Pearce hadn't declared for the draft yet. Isn't today the deadline?

Starting to do my research. I didnt get to watch much college ball this year with the amount of changes Ive had in my career this past year. Probably going to be even harder with me in Europe next year.

Elic Ayomanor WR Stanford
This is the best blocking WR in the class by far. Probably last years too IMO. Super strong, good size, can win down the field, but his best asset to me is understanding zones and finding the hole. Really reminds me a lot of how I felt about Amon Ra coming out. I really love this player.

David Walker Edge Central Arkansas
I think this guy is just going to be a star. He plays bad competition but he dominates them and has the athleticism to translate. I think whats really impressive is his hands and how he fights and swipes in the trenches. I dont think you see the level of detail from small school guys like that. Its what really sets himself apart for me. There some Khalil Mack in this one which is a wild thing to say.

We'll see, but I think when the ink dries, he is also the size/speed combo that will push him up the board for a lot of teams. Seems like a guy destined to go in the Top-20.

Yeah gotta see what he runs. I don’t think he goes before us in the draft with the players at WR in this class. I think he ends up going somewhere in the early 2nd round and would be comfortable moving up for him in the 2nd or just trading down if the hull is right. Being a Stanford WR seems to really hurt him in the consensus rankings.

Mel KIper first mock has us taking speed edge rusher Mike Green from Marshall, 17 sacks last year with slot 23. good article.

PFF gave Green an elite 92.4 overall grade and credited him with 59 total pressures across 356 pass-rushing snaps. His 59 total pressured ranked ninth among all FBS players, and his pass-rush win rate of 20.1 percent ranked eighth.

That pick would mark a change in edge/DL draft pick philosophy for the Packers.

They typically shy away from college players with highly productive stat lines preferring instead to go with the physical upside/under-performer types with their top picks.
