Trades
Romeo Doubs + 2025 2nd round pick + 2026 5th round pick
for
Garrett Wilson
Something just doesn't seem right with Doubs, in the head and in the locker room. He is in a contract year and is excited for a fresh start with Jets and they give him an extension right away, for far less than Garrett Wilson will likely receive.
Garrett Wilson is done with the Jets and is excited to play with a contender. Packers and Wilson both agree to hold until next offseason to discuss contracts extension talks, Packers would own his rights for 2026 as well under the 5th year option.
This swap will add about $2M to the Packers cap and give them the obligation of Wilson 5th year option contract in 2026.

Oh but we twaren't done yet...
Jaire Alexander + 2025 3rd Round Pick for
for
DK Metcalf + 2025 Seattles 2nd round Pick
Packers get their field stretcher in Metcalf while waiting for Watson to return. He will cost $18 million on the cap in 2025 and then is a free agent next year, along with Watson.
Trading Jaire saves ~6.5M on the 2025 cap and frees us up greatly in 2026 and beyond.

All in all, the Packers move Doubs, Jaire a 3rd and futuer 5th, for Metcalf and Wilson
Free Agents
Byron Murphy Jr - 3 years $48M - coming off his first pro-bowl season, Murphy is still only 26 years old. Playmaking, physical corner, just what we are looking for.

Austin Corbett - 1 year $5M - Signed a fairly larget contract wtih the Panther 3 years ago, spent the last two years on IR, knee and biceps. Has guard flexibility, is 29 years old, and provides some depth and competition at the center spot.

Draft
TRADE
Packers move from 23 to 31 and pick up a 3rd round pick.
1 Kenneth Grant - DT Michigan 6'4" 340
Kenneth Grant is a powerful and agile defensive tackle for Michigan, standing 6’3” and 340 pounds. Renowned for excelling in crucial moments, he effectively pressures the quarterback and anchors the run defense with his natural athleticism and strength. With significant potential and ongoing development, Grant is a top first-round prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Big big man, with some pass rushing skills. Losing Slaton won't help the run D, but Grant won't hurt it either.
2 Josh Conerly Jr. - OT/OG Oregon 6'4" 315

Conerly had the five-star pedigree entering the 2024 season to warrant NFL consideration, but the tape had been inconsistent in his first year as a starting offensive tackle. It was this past season, though, that he truly came into his own.
With tremendous athleticism and body control, Conerly moves like a much lighter man on tape. His foot speed in pass protection and his redirect ability give him significant range as a blocker, making it easier for him to execute blocking assignments on the move. Though he projects best in a more zone-oriented running system, he has thrived in gap assignments as well.
There are plenty of offensive linemen who test well, but Conerly’s pad level and coordination make it easier for him to climb to the second level and block linebackers. He’s obviously bigger and stronger than the off-ball defenders he goes up against, but his precision and fluidity on the move allow him to take precise angles blocking in space.
Though his play strength isn’t elite yet, Conerly has gotten stronger as his time at Oregon progressed. He improved how well he absorbed power at the point of attack, and if he can continue to better withstand bull rushes and stabs, his ceiling is high.
He seems to have long enough arms to stay at tackle, as his wingspan, combined with his athleticism, gives him the range to thrive outside. If teams were to project him inside, he likely could thrive as a guard, but his future seems particularly bright at tackle.
Given his athletic tools, ideal arm length, and body control, Conerly seems like a safe bet to go in the first round. He looks the part of a late Round 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to this point, but considering how he’s progressed quickly in college and is still just 21 years old, a team could take a chance on his upside earlier than that.
Got the skill positions in FA, now keep hammering the trenches.
3 Daylen Everette - CB - Georgia - 6'1" 195

Daylen Everette is a physically gifted cornerback with an ideal size, speed, and athleticism combination. He excels in press coverage, using his length and physicality to disrupt receivers at the line of scrimmage. Everette’s fluid movement and quick change of direction allow him to stick with receivers on all levels of the field. At the same time, his ball-tracking skills and competitive mindset make him a playmaker in contested situations. He shows strong instincts and awareness in zone coverage, reading plays effectively and reacting decisively. He is best suited to starting his career in a zone scheme. However, if he lands with the right coaching staff, he could develop his man coverage skills to become a scheme-versatile starter.
