I went once at Radio City Music Hall when that was its permanent location and it was amazing and I was in heaven to just be surrounded by it all.
But I had a seat. They had headphones with a localized signal broadcasting the ESPN and NFL Network audio feeds so you could track all the commentary. It was the days when more players are at the event and they did the hugs and stuff on the first round picks, but there were fewer gimmicky pick announcements and such.
I can see both sides. To me, it's kind of like Mardi Gras. You want to do it at least once for the experience, but it's not how you want to spend that time every year.

Also all that said, I would LOVE to be in Green Bay for this experience if I had any way of squeezing that inYoHoChecko wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:28I went once at Radio City Music Hall when that was its permanent location and it was amazing and I was in heaven to just be surrounded by it all.

I am 100% most excited for Mon-Wed, think its gunna be so much fun down there then.NCF wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:21@BF004 and I have been talking about this for years. As it nears in, I think we are somewhat in that same boat while at the same time just wanting to experience that spectacle once. I am honestly probably more excited for Monday - Wednesday than the actual days of The Draft.Labrev wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:02Yeah as we get closer, I find myself getting less interested. Yeah, it would have been cool to experience a draft in GB, but enough for me to want to traverse through all the craziness? 'Just not really feeling that. Honestly, it will probably be no less enjoyable to watch on TV/online.
But I hope you guys have a great time!![]()
I'd be totally find staying home Thurs-Friday, ALthough I think Thursday will actaully be pretty fun.
Isn't quite as much to 'watch' first day, just the 32 picks, you already know which 40-50 guys will go. Day 2 is the day to start paying much better attention.

Ringo's way out of practice. The concept of "8th" is amazing.BF004 wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 16:23I got you down for 1st, 4th, 6th and 8thRingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 13:11And please continuously keep in mind that Ringo is buying the first round on Monday!YoHoChecko wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 10:56

It's Draft week. That sounds like breakfast, to me.

Just got my copy of Heritage trail, waiting to read it for the draft, old town GB, Adams street hangouts, my mom worked both the loop and astor bar back in the 40's, cops would hang at both to give players rides home back thenRingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025 20:00Ringo's way out of practice. BREAKING NEWS!
Kay Adams announced that she will be in Green Bay next week. She likes Wisconsin better than Illinois. Of course she's been ice fishing. She knows Morse code and Shoneys.
