Packers 2025 Schedule
Moderators: NCF, salmar80, BF004, APB, Packfntk
Two Thursday Games.
9 Road games in the final 15 games.
Hearing we will have an early bye.
This looks like a disadvantageous schedule so far.

Keep it coming GPG. I've got some hotel reservations to make!

An interesting quote from Mark Murphy:
“The reality regarding international games is that it is a huge priority for the league, and we need to get used to playing them,” Packers President Mark Murphy wrote in his Murphy Takes 5 column. “At minimum, we will be playing an international game every other year.

Even thought it's at home, I really don't like Detroit and Washington back to back. There's a chance we could start the year 0-2 losing 2 home games and still have a good team.
Based on what we know, I am guessing we have the following.go pak go wrote: ↑14 May 2025 12:42Week 1: vs. Detroit Lions (Sunday, Sept. 7, 3:25 p.m., Fox)

Agreed. I don't like it either.
F that. We better win, then.

Read More. Post Less.
The league definitely hedges its bets on "premier matchups". They don't like premier matchups to turn into not premeir matchups because one of or both of the teams loses during the year.
Therefore we see a lot of prior year top teams vs each other early in the season.
Yeah the Detroit one sucks because while they may be worse this season without Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn, it is an advantage for them to start the season because we are not sure what kind of offense or defense we are going to see. They are also a physical team, the first few weeks of the season are full of sloppy football and generally favors defenses, while offense is slower to get going. I also don't feel good about facing DET in Week 1.
Not sure about Washington. Hopefully the QB has a sophomore slump like CJ Stroud did last season.

Of course, the one away game I'm interested in attending (@ Pittsburgh) hasn't been leaked.
