The Cowboys (in progress) and Seahawks (later tonight) are 9 and 10 points, respectively, behind the Packers in total points scored, despite the Packers being on a bye right now.
Meaning the Packers in 4 games scored more points than the Chiefs and Raiders and Ravens Bucs and Rams have scored in 5 games.
UPDATE: Cowboys now within 2 points of us halfway through game 5.

Dak is out with an ankle injury. Andy Dalton takes over.

Sucks for Dak. That injury is gonna cost 10s of millions of dollars.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
I feel bad for Dak who I think is a good guy, but Dak should fire his greedy agent. Jerry wasn’t low balling him. When you have generational wealth on the table, you take it.

It would be very cool if the niners missed the playoffs

The niners have a brutal schedule their next 5 games or so.
They could be in very serious trouble in a month.

I'm not sure the math on that works out. The low-win-percentage playoff teams usually come from division winners. I doubt that are many years where a 7th seed would have been worse than 9-7
Last year the Steelers would have been in at 8-8. The vike would have been in the year before at 8-7-1. Would have made it at 8-8.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑11 Oct 2020 18:36I'm not sure the math on that works out. The low-win-percentage playoff teams usually come from division winners. Injuries like this gonna shift some of the negotiating power from the players to the teams the more guys see this and don’t want to play with fire.
Dak will be fine-ish financially. Don’t think this will cost him much if any next offseason.
But a guy like Aaron Jones, if there is a fair-ish offer on the table, that all of a sudden looks more tempting.
They certainly can. But likely not going to happen during a year when the NFC East is going to rack up a lot of losses.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑11 Oct 2020 18:36I'm not sure the math on that works out. The 9ers Rams game next week is a huge game. And if we beat the Bucs, we are essentially above both the NFC and South winners.
Honestly, I will be rooting for MN and SF to beat Seattle in the coming weeks.
Very good points. I always felt dak was playing with Fire bc he wanted Mahommes money, and he’s obviously not mahommes. He’s a top 10 qb, that has tremendous weapons around him. He wanted top 3 money. I feel like the cowboys were giving him very fair offers.BF004 wrote: ↑11 Oct 2020 18:49Injuries like this gonna shift some of the negotiating power from the players to the teams the more guys see this and don’t want to play with fire.

Hate it for him that he didn’t take the money when he could.
I agree in a violent game like football...if you have life changing money offered, you may just want to grab it.

It certainly could be 9-7 or even a bunch of 10-6 teams but I think the bares will come back to earth. The South doesn't look all that tough at the moment. Whoever doesn't win the west most likely the rams could be a double digit WC. Long way to go.go pak go wrote: ↑11 Oct 2020 18:54They certainly can.
