By any measurement, Mennenga is not a good special teams coach. This year alone the pack has had a blocked punt, given up a 91 years punt return for a TD, and were only in week 10. Yes, I realize he has a great leg, pretty much every punter does. I'm not demanding he be replaced, I want better competition next Spring. If somebody beats him, so be it.

Agreed!! In addition to the things you mentioned above, I would also add that our return specialists also look very sloppy and undisciplined. If you're happy with Mennenga's special teams compared to Zook's, that's a pretty small measuring stick you're using.

If you're happy with Mennenga's special teams compared to Zook's, that's a pretty small measuring stick you're using.
Mennenga is not even an NFL-caliber coach, he was simply the guy we hired out of desperation because Murphy reportedly pissed off Darren Rizzi, and then we had no other options.
