I'm all for mocks year round. Most years I post them monthly starting in Oct. Haven't got Nov in yet but I can get into this stuff no matter the record.

Thanks for the effort. If wade is there its a steal. It is a really solid cb draft. We can find a good one on day 1 or 2 this year.

I dont mind Terry but I dont see it. He isnt polished and his hands are questionable. Not a packer type pick and prob not a 2nd round talent. I will say though that Callaway is not some proven FA. Unless its the min hes a bum.

I loved snowden last year. He prob goes higher. Idk how much weight he adds but hes a fun guy to watch. Lanky and is strong off the edge and dropping.

Good work

Nice mock lupe, but since this is already derailing, I will add my two cents.

2010 vs 2011. Who would you pick to win a Super Bowl based on the regular season. The 2010 team that "proved" they couldn't beat Atlanta, dropped division games, dropped home games to lesser opponents, and didn't really have a signature win unless you want to count Philly in the opener, or the team that rolled through everyone?

This 2020 version of the Packers is still mind numbingly inconsistent after a nice 4-0 start, but even just that 1st-half against a pretty darn good opponent should give some hope that this team can get right. I do think our identity is 100% on the offensive side of the ball, though, and when you have back-to-back 3-and-outs in game, it opens you up for A LOT of bad things to happen. That is pretty much what happened against the Vikings and the Colts and to a lesser extent the Buccaneers. I haven't always agreed, but this team goes where Rodgers takes them. If he makes the plays and takes the pressure off, some of these other units might start building on the rare glimpses of competitiveness we have seen.
That 2010 team was a complete roster once they got Starks in there. He made the offense capable to run the ball. Prior to that point they did t have a reliable run game.

Defensively the secondary was elite outside of Peprah. Bishop was a playmaker inside while Hawk was kind of the prevent big plays player. The pass rush with Cullen Jenkins gave a legitimate rush from both sides which was the problem I get in 2011 letting Jenkins go and not getting someone who could generate a pass rush opposite Clay.

The Packers proved in the regular season they could hang with the Falcons. Rodgers fumbled on the goal line if I remember right and when we kicked off to them before regulation Weems returned a big kick.

The 2010 team I felt could beat any team in the league. This was when we were drafting well and fresh off signing key veterans to bolster the roster.

This team I have no confidence in them beating anyone with a defense. I did not feel that way in 2010.
the 2010 team fit into Waldo's superior teams report nicely starting week 11 2009. We kept all the games close. We could have beaten ATl if MM had pulled the challenge flag out of his pocket on the 2Q, 4th and 3 that Tony Gonzalez dropped on their TD drive. These guys could had the talent overcome bad coaching decisions. The only question was, were we getting in the playoffs.

We are going to be in the playoffs. But the current team has been blown out 2 games and just had a horrible half to drop what should have been an easy win. It is not the same feel for me at all. There is still time to improve but we don't have that we can beat anybody anywhere feel.

The way I currently rank the CBs is the Horn, Surtain, Fairley, and then Wade. Personally I think Wade is better than Fairley but I think teams will fall in love with Fairleys athleticism and ball skills, if he declares of course. I’m a huge fan of Asante Samual Jr but the lack of size is concerning. I still think he’s gonna be a great CB but lack of size and Alice athleticism pushes him out of the first round IMO.

I think Terry actually is a Packers type pick. 6’4 with elite level athleticism puts him in the metrics the Packers get down with. I will agree the hands are questionable. It may always improve. To me the talent is too good to pass up on, much like passing on DK Metcalf. We need to not be afraid of taking a player in which we know who he already is. Terry is going to be a deep threat at the next level. He doesn’t need to be an elite route runner or hands catcher when he can break a game open at any time.

I agree on Callaway. He’s a decent slot guy and a player who can return kicks/punts. I’m not saying he’s a starter but he’s a better option than putting Ervin in the slot. Lupedafiasco 2021. Gone are the days of going into the season with known holes and problems and doing nothing about it because the GMs wanna act like they have Down syndrome.
Cancelled by the forum elites.

Oh I hadn't seen Horn that well-regarded; he's a bigtime target for me in rnd 1. You think he'll be gone before us, though?

I also really like Tyson Campbell out of UGA in round 2 if he's there. 6'2" so a nice replacement for King's length opposite Jaire.

Horn is a stud but keep an eye on his running mate
Israel Mukaumu. I mocked him in mine.... Maybe to early but that guy is also a tough sob at cb. Big strong far and will tackle. If our new dc wants to get up close hes an option.

Good talks cya next week its bare week now
