From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
I think they might go for this, not just try to draw them offsides.
Kind of shows ML's lack of confidence in the defense.
I saw an article a few days ago saying that coach's decision to punt vs. JAX in Q4 was the worst decision by any coach that week, citing certain probability statistics about how the reward of converting outweighed the risk by quite a bit, even with the possibility of JAX scoring the go-ahead TD if we failed to convert.
I can't say I agreed with their conclusion, but I thought of it here. I wonder if there was any discussion about that internally.

That's the kind of thing the analytics guys are supposed to look at so I wouldn't be surprised if it came up. Outside statisticians have been saying NFL coaches are too conservative on 4th down for years.

They gave a pretty decent Browns team all they could handle today. AZ had no business losing to NE. The Raiders got blown out by the Falcons. The Rams lost to the 9ers. You just never know.
This is a fail of the defense tonight. If they did well in previous weeks for me not to be concerned I wouldn't care. But they are allowing 17 points to the 2nd worst offense in the league.
We had a big lead. I didn't mind prevent here. Plus it eats up the clock. I didn't care for their last drive before the half, however.
Nothing bad to say about the Packer offense. It just worked.
About the D, there's another story. If Trubisky doesn't throw two bonehead passes for INTs, the game might be different. At least our DBs were in position to get the ball on those.
Before the game got out of hand, da Bears had too chunk plays. And if Trubisky doesn't look like he's in spring training, he completes another half dozen passes to move the chains.
This could've easily been a close game. But I still think the Pack wins. The offense never really was stopped and it didn't hand over the ball. Good to see after the debacle of last week.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!

I'd rather eat the clock with us in possession of the ball.

I saw a lot of blitzing. I saw a lot of press corner.
I don't think we can just chaulk up the 4th quarter defense to playing prevent to make us feel better. We have to do that as Packers fans because our defense just actually sucks.
This was supposed to be a game where we got better on team defense in terms of NFL rank for yards and points. I expected the Packers to easily be top 10 after this last stretch.
But we gave up 351 yards and 25 points which is our average for the year.

We weren't playing press end of 2nd half and most of the 1nd half. We only blitzed a few times in the 2nd half.
We played off as soon as it was 41-10. I wish we hadn't because the rush was getting home and Mitch was getting it out quick.

15 points after we were up 41-10, how many yards?
