Two huge stops on 4th down for the Eagles D.
Eagles defense starting to shore up. The offense on the other hand...

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS. Except also the OLIne. In fact mostly the OLine. Wentz has been awful, but I'm not sure how you play with such a bad OLine.
That said, I'm not watching tonight because I am sick of watching Eagles football-related activities this year; they make me sad. I'll probably watch.
Well the Seahawks got points.
So I guess this game is over.

1. Eagles at 49ers.
2. Eagles at Packers
Both games the Eagles offense looked pretty good. This is beyond terrible.

This is my 3rd or 4th Eagles game this year. The Eagles-Bengals tie was too kind of a result to both teams.
I think the Seahawks are the team to watch out for the top seed.
Hate opponents where they really only have one likely game to lose remaining on their schedule. Because these NFC/AFC East games on the Hawks schedule are absolute gimmes.
Maybe the Giants can do it.
Maybe.

Any given Sunday... Lot of talk this time last year about how there is no way we would get the bye because the other teams in front of us had such an easy schedule and we already had 3 losses.
We were 8-3 after 11 games last year. Seahawks were 9-2, but dropped 3 of their next 5. 49ers were 10-1, but dropped 2 of their next 5. Saints were 9-2 and dropped 1 of their next 5.
Nothing can be counted out, at this point.

And the Eagles actually got a drive there.....and miss their only Extra Point all year.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2020 20:40Any given Sunday... Philly making the game closer than YoHo thought they would. (albiet it was garbage points). But still, this was game was a play or two away from bouncing Philly's way (really if Philly had a player over the top on the first Metcalf TD on 3rd down and if Wentz hits Goedert in the first half on the corner route....this is a different ball game)
Seattle's offense isn't producing as much as it was a month ago.
Two more shots of an NFC East team stealing one from the Hawks. Giants and Washington are probably better than the Eagles.

Yeah, Washington's D on a good day can actually shut people down. If Gibson and McLauren pop for a big play or two, anything can happen there.go pak go wrote: ↑01 Dec 2020 07:39Philly making the game closer than YoHo thought they would. Philly can turn their team around pretty quickly if they get 2-3 OLinemen in place to solidify that unit. But that's a 2021/2 conversation
I was thinking that last night too. That Eagles team is loaded with talent if they hit on two high draft picks on the Oline.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑01 Dec 2020 10:08Yeah, Washington's D on a good day can actually shut people down. Honstly I would not want to win the division if I am the Eagles. Best thing long term is have a top 10 draft pick.

VERY interesting that our run stop win rate is just above average while our pass rush win rate is below average.

Holy crap, that OLine is crushing it!
very good run and pass pro, however we struggle to garner sufficient pass rush, and we give up to many big plays against the run to have a better average, sorta what we see I guess, Pettines N/D groupings hold up against weaker running teams, but are exposed against good run blocking and explosive RB's
It's just crazy how a complete strength one year ago turns into a thing that holds this defense back in terms of our pass rushers.
I never would have guess our largest issue as a team in 2020 was failing to generate enough pass rush pressure with Clark, Z, P, and Gary all relatively healthy all season.

We should have a thread talking about this OL more.
Dead horse here, but still just mind boggling to me what they are doing this year. What Billy Turner is doing. Honestly, 3 months ago, if we said we had 3 starters out and we were playing Lucas Patrick and Runyan and guard and Billy Turner at tackle, we would call this a lost season and call for Gute's head for even allowing such a roster to take the field.
