They're good but Matt Ice has melted. He sucks.

If we beat the Falcons 21-16 in a game where they had the ball and a hail mary shot to win, this forum would be flipping out about how we can't close out games and aren't beating bad teams by enough.
I may have to go read some Bears fans tears after they are now totally out.

Las Vegas v Jets.
How the hell does a DB end up with no safety help over the top in that situation? And what DB bites on a hook route to let a WR get behind him???

Meanwhile, Giants and Cards ALSO just scored TDs, so Giants are up 9 and Cards are within 3

That last play in Vegas was a called Cover Zero. 3 and 13 and up four with the opponent nowhere near the red zone with 11 seconds left....
Jets are calling out the coaches for a horrible call. 2 of the 3 DBs left on islands were rookies..

Yeah, that was wild. Especially that it was the fastest dude out there. I mean, did you see how much he separated while the ball was in the air to track it down?Ghost_Lombardi wrote: ↑06 Dec 2020 17:56That last play in Vegas was a called Cover Zero. 3 and 13 and up four with the opponent nowhere near the red zone with 11 seconds left....

Ooof, Alex Smith is pretty bad at football these days.
If you're going to be the brainy vet managing the game, you at least have to avoid mental errors. Took back-to-back sacks in a hurry-up situation where he held the ball

Not if we did it with Tim Boyle at quarterback.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑06 Dec 2020 15:29If we beat the Falcons 21-16 in a game where they had the ball and a hail mary shot to win, this forum would be flipping out about how we can't close out games and aren't beating bad teams by enough.

They must be pretenders.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
He's kind of turned that team around since taking over the starting role.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑07 Dec 2020 17:47Ooof, Alex Smith is pretty bad at football these days.

Josh Allen has a freaking cannon for an arm. Lacks touch some times, but man can he sling it.

Everyone assumes it will be the Steelers or Chiefs in the SB.
I think the Bills could seriously put a wrench in that plan.

yes and no? The Chiefs seem to have closer games against their division rivals.
I think the Packers can relate to that, having dominated the division for years but still often played the Bears, Vikings, or Lions a lot closer than their records implied.
Chiefs lost to the Raiders, struggled again with the Raiders and Broncos
The Bucs game got close but looked to be a blowout early. Though the Panthers game was close, though, too.
So the Chiefs have won their last 4 games by a combined 15 points.
I may have changed my mind while typing. Can't be sure.
