Also Austin seems like a decent aquisition. Did Rush play?
260 total yards and 14 points.
I’ll take that against any team any time, let alone the NFLs #1 scoring offense.

Yeah, my guess is the did some wrong choice with their shoes. Certainly looked like they were more slippery than us.Crazylegs Starks wrote: ↑27 Dec 2020 22:07Which is a bit strange for a running team...German_Panzer wrote: ↑27 Dec 2020 22:06I mean this time the weather REALLY helped. Alright how did we do?
Total Points = 14 points.
Total Yards = 260 yards.
Total Passing Yards = 104 yards
Total Rushing Yards = 156 yards
Derrick Henry Rushing Yards = 23 carries for 98 yards.
Holy. Sh*t.

This feels really, genuinely good.
I haven't enjoyed watching a football game this much in a long time.

Can’t wait to end the Trubisky, Nagy, Pace era in Chicago in 7 days.
I think even better would be to go stomp them, AZ loses, Chicago backs their way into the playoffs, screwing most realistic chance of them getting a top 10 qb.

Kudos for discipline on D. Tannehill tried same kinda offside bait counts AR does, fooled nobody.
Zero penalties.
Zero penalties.
How they responded in the 2nd half was so gratifying.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Dec 2020 22:10This feels really, genuinely good.

The Titans had one play. A 3rd and 1 QB keeper. Other than that, we outscored them 21 to 7 when the Titans had the extra possession.
Like I said. The ONLY thing we can complain about is Savage dropped a pick...Gary didn't get home...and nobody stepped up outside of 17, 33 and 28.
That's pretty slim pickings. Hope Wagner is good to go in a month just in case.
we beat them in every facet of the game, lots of people bet the spread, and lost
very impressed with offense and defense, this team is as good as anyone when it plays this well.

Naah, not the shoes.German_Panzer wrote: ↑27 Dec 2020 22:09Yeah, my guess is the did some wrong choice with their shoes. Our run D was just disciplined, Henry usually got hit at LoS and support was there. And Tannehill just couldn't beat a stacked box and blitzes enough. Our guys broke up a lot of passes in man (10 passes defensed and 2 INTs ), no one got beat big 1-1.
Absolutely an ass whooping. Glad the trolls can't even remotely respond here!!

Our special teams also struggled again tonight.

Didn't u also have the impression - especially at the start - that the footing for the Titians was a bit off while we looked as if we run with superspikes on our shoes?
p.s. "Shoes" sounds somehow wrong here, is "boots" a better word for what they wear in the NFL?

Yes, we dominated early, proving we can do it against a good team.go pak go wrote: ↑27 Dec 2020 22:14How they responded in the 2nd half was so gratifying.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑27 Dec 2020 22:10This feels really, genuinely good.

And then we saw that familiar negative game script creep up: cheap, too-easy points allowed at the end of the half; give up a big play, suddenly in a one-score game and the offense backed up? We've seen this movie, and win or lose, it doesn't feel good.
TD, quick stop, TD. Stop that negativity in its tracks. Boom.

@YoHo: Yeah, but this time our offense was there to make up for defensive or ST faults. That was missing so far.
0 punts (But still got a JK Scott tackle, though not on the stat sheet), 0 penalties. Insanity. Peaking at the right time. I love this team.

I genuinely don't think even Jaire could cover Davante in the snow. The SNF crew dedicating a cameraman to his feet the whole game was an incredible choice!
