Could be just blowing smoke to get a qb needy team to trade up. Stafford is still pretty good..when healthy. I suppose that is what gets most people thinking they need a qb is his health. Their back up also played decent for being a 7th rd pick or undrafted guy? I would think they would want either the best wr available or best cb lb or dt..maybe even ot.

Wouldn’t say fall per se as Jefferson just goes higher than expected.

But was thinking Ruggs or Jeudy go 4.

Adding a new one that I'm warming to. Patriots trade up and draft Tua.

I just have this awful feeling we will end up drafting Tee Higgins.

Gute seems to have his type and doesn't seem to stray from it. Big, tall, long and not-unathletic.

Only 1 player taken in this year's draft will start a single regular season game. And he will be a lineman/

Daniel Jeremiahs final mock has Jefferson 2nd WR off the board at 13 after Lamb.

My prediction no longer bold.

WARNING, WARNING, Jerry Jones is not contained!!! He will do the drafting alone at his house, and with no one to restrain him, I predict at least three total jaw-droppers.

Also, we will break 5000 posts on the new forum. Currently at 3555 - which is impressive. Thanks y'all for making the trip over, and making this The place to tlak some football. :aok:

Can anyone ever actually restrain Jerry? Even if there is a room full of people?

:rotf: I can't even...

Told y'all! An uncontained Jerry Jones is a clear and present danger to not only humans and his franchise, but more importantly to mock drafts everywhere! And Jerry Jones has been allowed to develop in isolation. There's no telling what kind of abominable mutations have developed in his brains.

Now I've gotta upgrade my prediction to 5 jaw-droppers. And give him a 7th round talent in the 1st round in the mock draft competition.

Screw it, 8 WR's in the first, breaking the 2004 record of 7.

Yup. This was the ultimate no confidence vote on AR. Not only did the Packers not pick a WR that Yoop wanted in the worst way, they told everyone loud and clear that the problem was not the WR's last season.

from the smile on McCarthy's face he had to be thinking, finally a GM that will get me a quality WR, with Ted I was forced to watch my HOF QB struggle year after year as our WR's declined with injury, and Ted kept shuffling through all these low floor boom/bust receivers, nice to be appreciated again.
