From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Yeeeaaah. Simply too many mistakes, both individual and coaching-related, all around to win. Wasn't even close to the product we put on the field vs the Rams.
Definitely a winnable game, just beat ourselves and TB took advantage.
Bucs felt better to me at every facet of the game except QB play - running back close aswell but they had some good catches and runs
Receivers were more open, Line blocked better, more pass rush, better coverage, better special teams.
Agreed, They are overall a better team except at QB
I mean you pick in the top 10/5 every year for the last 5 years and Brady signs a cheap deal yeah....you are going to have a good team.
Literally we have to overcome these NFC one year wonders every year.
This one hurts. I'm pretty dejected. I don't think we will have as good as a shot as we had this year with 12 behind center.
Exactly. Refs had the flag in their pockets the whole game until the end of the 4th.
It almost makes you think these games are fixed...
Definitely not fixed, but it sure leaves a sour taste in your mouth when they decide to pull flags that decide games. When it hasn't been done all the game.

Yup. I still put it on King more than the refs, because King's two hand jersey pull was so blatant he made it real easy for the ref to throw the flag. Hurts even more that he didn't need to do it since the pass was so off.

King might have been a dope on the play before the half, but that was a Gregg Williams and the Jets vs the Raiders level bad on the play call.
It really wasnt that bad. Bucs were in a position to get points by going short. You need to cover that but also ensure your corners dont give anything over the top. King is just so pathetic.
When the team gets two INTs and then 6 straight passes, I wish I knew if that was rodgers canning plays and changing them into all passes, or if Lafleur just hates running the ball when his chest (or something else) gets tight.

Behind.
But also we ran a few times on first and got no yards - made it difficult.
There were some decent runs but it is hard if you waste plays when behind.

Yeah. That is the time of the game I was most disappointed in. We drove so nice on our 2nd drive in the 3rd quarter and then Jaw gets us two gifts and the offense can't do &%$@.
I was really hoping Jaw could keep his feet on the 2nd pick because he probably takes it to the house.
But our offense had 3 shots to tie/get the lead and they couldn't do it.
Like I said. every star let us down today at some point except really Clark and Jaw. And I don't consider MVS a star though he was fantastic.
