Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I didn't either, but it makes sense, specially with Clark missing time, seriously who else even requires double or even chippy blocks, maybe Gary, but Pettine used Presten and no one needed to double him to often, he's a part time player, I hope we can bring in WAtts and dump P Smith.
How did I miss that...?NCF wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021 08:54It was posted back on Page 5. Not much there, but exciting.Pugger wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021 08:50I just found a link to this article on another forum:

Probably pretty accurate. I'll bet he is seriously considering all teams that are interested in him. I would.Pugger wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021 11:15I don't know how reliable this report is:

I think the Browns are a very attractive team if you are a free agent.

Meh. If you want to win it’s a good spot to go. Most players in their 20s are looking for a better location than Cleveland to live out the best years of their lives. Can’t blame them. That city is pretty horrible.

I thought Cincinnati was a dump when we were looking at moving here because of my wife's residency. Now we live here and love it.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021 11:33Meh. I have been to Cleveland too. There are a lot of dumpy spots. But there are also a lot of great spots if you have money which pro athletes would have. Honestly I think I would rather live in cities like Cleveland where $3,000 a month rent can buy an awesome place compared to Los Angeles where $3,000 of rent buys a studio sh*thole.

Not signing Watt wouldn’t be the most egregious blunder the Packers ever made. Not trading peanuts for Randy Moss would take that cake... I can still remember the homers who said they would rather have James Jones. Loved JJ but that is just up there with the dumbest things I’ve ever heard.

I remember being upset with a lot of these.
Marshawn Lynch was a biggie. Tony Gonzalez hurt. Even Will Fuller hurt a little. But yeah, Moss for a 4th was hard to beat.

Didn't we offer a 4th but the Raiders took the Patriot's 4th instead?

I thought Lynch was another obvious one. The Packers had a massive need at RB at the time and Lynch was a cheap young running back. Went on to have 4 years of dominance carrying that horrible Seahawks offense. The Texans wanted to much for Fuller for what would be a half year rental. I agree declining that. Gonzalez I would also agree at the time was too much. He was 33 at the time. He went in to have a terrific finish with the Falcons. It’s a missed opportunity but I don’t think I would make that trade either considering his age.

Lynch, from the group of guys mentioned, was the only one that really bummed me out.
Honestly, I get more bummed out lately about this team letting our guys go and seeing them flourish elsewhere. And we've got a handful of those on D.

Blunder draft picks. HHCD forced out Hyde. Randall and Rollins forced out Hayward. None of those picks finished out their rookie deals and both DBs went to the pro bowl after leaving. Poor decisions by TT.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021 13:13Lynch, from the group of guys mentioned, was the only one that really bummed me out.
