From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Jones is 4 years - $13 million guaranteed. Cap could be as little as $3.25 million, could even be smaller is not all $13 million is signing bonus. Chandon Sullivan is $2.133 million according to Demovsky.
So the smallest number will be $7,165,617. No one knows what Jones is hitting at precisely. Then there may be the Amos restructure which isn't being officially reported anywhere.
Forgot that we have to add in at least veteran minimum for Jones and I believe that is $910,000 in 2021 for someone of Jones' experience.
If we take into account Amos' restructure then we are looking at a low number of $6,415,617.
So we need to clear at least $7,325,617 by 3 PM tomorrow. Easiest way would be to restructure Rodgers. Most desirable way would be to extend Adams or Z. Smith.

I hope that the Green Bay Packers will consider putting T-Will into the Packer HOF. He's always been the consummate professional, played at a high level, has made remarkable plays in his career, and been good for the Packer Nation.
Gonna miss that guy!

Oh he is a LOCK for the Packers Hall of Fame.
The pre-requisite requirements for the Packers Hall isn't THAT steep.
Does he have two years left on his deal? 4 new years, $92 million new dollars would allow a lot of back-loading to even keep it reasonable through the trouble spots of 2022/3

I think it’ll be a 3 year extension for a total of 5 years.
To me ideally I would want it just to be a 2 year extension so we can move on. He will be 29 at the start of the year so 4 years from now he will 33. That’s a good age to move on from a pass rusher.

Ingalls was trying to tout some absurd $9.2 million number that really didn't make sense.

To be fair to Ingalls, we don't know Aaron Jones's actual cap hit. All we knew is it could be as low as $3.25 million.
But it's certainly conceivable to have Aaron Jones actually have a cap hit of $3.25 million up to the likes of $6.5 million.
Everyone was throwing darts at a board with their eyes covered on guessing where the actual cap was. Heck. We still don't know Jones Cap hit though by viewing the NFL records tweet, it is likely that Jones has a very, very small base salary in 2021.
