Watching NFLN, primarily, flip to ESPN. We’ll see how that starts out.

Think I’ll get some wings from somewhere for snacking.

Got some Modelo Negra with some limes and some Badger State Green Chop stocked up.

I will have on NFLN most likely and switch to ESPN occasionally as well. My wife will have the main computer tonight so I won't be able to multiple screen it and have a lot of stuff open. But I may look to find some streaming options like I did last year. Maybe Pat McAfee or someone focusing on the Packers.

Food - probably Panera or subs whatever the wife is willing to pick up so I don't have to cook.
Drink - Whiskey. Much whiskey will be consumed.

I am all in on Zaven Collins, guys.

I'm reading a column with clips and film analysis and good grief. My first draft crush is remaining my last. This guy. He's so big. He has such great instincts. He knows zone schemes so well. He runs faster than any of our current off-ball LBs. He has pass rush experience and potential. High school valedictorian. Wowing in interviews. Sheds blocks like he's been a lifelong LB. Fills gaps.

Truly an all-around defensive player at LB with silly traits. This is my guy this year. And I don't think we can get him. But I'd trade a 3rd to move up 5-7 spots for him. YoHo. Would trade... UP.

I feel like a lot of dominos come into place once we know what the stupid 49ers are doing. I really hope they take Mac.

Also, if we don't get him, I become all in on Derrick Barnes maybe in the late 3rd but hopefully in the 4th

I'd obviously warm to him, I understand that he offers more then just off ball skills, and minus P Smith I'd be more on board with him, however my draft crush has more off ball ceiling, more range, and shows fantastic instincts for the position even though he's only started one season, with a razz score of plus 990's he seems like a can't miss player, you may be right, neither will fall into our draft range.

I could like any of about a doz players at our spot,

Sure, if your source is Paul Allen. I wouldn't doubt trades like this are offered all the time. But c'mon. No chance Packers would do it. Not to mention they couldn't because we don't have the cap space to make it happen. The league would reject it.

I'll believe Demovsky over Allen 10 out of 10 times.

Not gonna lie.

This has to be one of the more "least excited" draft days I have had in a number of years. Sorry to be the downer. I can't control my emotions.

There really isn't a guy I am in love with this year. It started out on Collins but that has cooled off because I know it won't happen. I think I am hoping for Farley tonight.

But I am still trying to make the best of my usual favorite weekend of the year. Doing Carolina pulled pork sandwiches Rodney Scott style tonight.

Menu for tomorrow and Saturday to be seen.

The players who will get me most excited if their name is called. (in order)

1. Greg Newsom
2. Zaven Collins
3. Caleb Farley
4. Christian Baremore
5. Asante Samuel Jr
6. Rashod Batemen.

Player I expected to be a Packer after tonight.

Tevin Jenkins.

There would be no reason for the Packers to take that trade unless it involved Bosa or Kittle. They already have Jordan Love who probably would have been a top 10-15 pick this year so they don't need a QB other than veteran help.

Wait until we're on the clock and don't choose a WR at 29. All I've been hearing today is how it's almost a sure thing that we're taking a WR.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I always seem to fall in love with things I can't have

the only two on your short list that maybe might be around at our slot are Samual and Bateman and even Bateman could go low 20's

I liked Z Collins initially, but so many teams need a OLB thats also big enough to play the edge, I figured maybe Jamin Davis would be available and we'd even be able to trade back a little and still take him, that was several weeks back, now he's climbed the draft boards more then any other player in this draft and is also likely to be out of our draft range.

still there are few players that would be worthy picks at our slot, so I have to hope that Guty will take one of em, and not trade up for another QB

chicken stir fry tonight, deep fry perch and chips tomorrow, might do some BBQ pork Saturday, eating well here in Happyrock :aok:
