Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I appreciate everything Rodgers has done, but as far as I'm concerned, if he's doing this for publicity or wants actual GM duties, he can take it elsewhere. Thanks for everything and see you when we retire your jersey number in 10 years.

It's also dumb because the Packers have more Pro Bowl/All Pro players than about every other team.
I don't buy it, but if it is true then I say don't budge. I like Rodgers, but he is not as smart as he thinks he is. I've heard his philosophical ramblings and they are freshman-level type stuff. Memorizing trivia isn't indicative of high (or low) IQ. RG3 did this same &%$@ when I was at Baylor. Both of those guys are probably legitimately among the smartest guys in the locker room, but that's not saying much. Couple that with the relentless adoration of fans and media, and they get inflated egos.
But, I feel like the rumors are false. I don't really care if Rodgers thinks he's smarter than he is and likes to LARP as an intellectual (he at least can sort of pull it off unlike LeBron who clearly has a sub-90 IQ but does the same &%$@) as long as he wins.

i bet 12 has had this planned for a while as revenge for Gutey embarrassing him last draft. That and the org probably told him they arent cool with him playing QB and hosting Jeopardy.
I Do Not Hate Matt Lafleur
Not to be outdone, Florio and Co managed to get hold of Rodgers’ team trade requests...all in the matter of minutes since the story first broke.
Requesting to go to the Raiders or Broncos just sounds goofy.

This is what happens when you have a guy that wants to win and an organization that, well they sort of want to win but they’re ok just being good and raising their ticket prices.

Rodgers is THAT embarrassed he missed a wide open Lazard in the endzone or Rodgers made the wrong read and threw to Lazard instead of Tonyan?
