I had thought that as well. First there was just a tweet, then this full clip came out that clarified nothing new will ever come out until Aaron or the team says it themselves.

really care to elaborate? Starr is easily a top 5 qb of all time, obviously not with passing stats, short ball era, be he was very accurate, short and long, heck first thing he said is that Starr would be his QB, after we just Took a Heisman winning QB from Notre Damn.

Lombardi did not say Starr would be his QB in 1959. Starr was already in his 4th year but Lombardi was so...underwhelmed with Starr that he quickly brought in Lamar McHan to be his guy. Problem was McHan was a bit of a lose cannon, and lucky for Coach, Starr hung around and turned into a good QB by late 1960.

1963 - Lombardi drafted two QBs: Daryle Lamonica (12th rd) and Dennis Claridge (3rd rd). Lamonica went to the AFL, and Claridge stayed in college until 1964.

1967 - Lombardi drafted Don Horn in the 1st. Good thing Twitter and ESPN didn't exist then!

If it's more than one and if it's early first round picks then trade Rodgers asap. This team right now is pretty good, assuming Rodgers playing like last season, but not good enough for a win-now-don't-care-about-tomorrow strategy. We need to think about our baby Packers fans who deserve better than to re-live the 80s.

who knows what will happen, I think both sides will keep quiet to the media now until something is settled, nothing good will come from either side trying to win over sports media to gain leverage at this juncture, best to settle this behind closed doors as it should have been settled a year ago.
