I actually do agree with you a lot. For instance I hated the Jordan Love pick. Still do. But when I’ve said my peace, I’ll move on and encourage others to as well. You like to interpret that as I’m just okay with whatever the management does.
DB coach Jerry Gray on Josh Jackson:
“It’s more confidence than anything.” It’s about competing for a spot. “I wouldn’t discount Josh.”
I wouldn't bet on it happening, but he's had enough time to learn and a great coach in Gray. IT IS TIME
Gotta find 3 keepers from this crew:
Chandon Sullivan
Josh Jackson
Shemar Jean-Charles
Stanford Samuels
Ka'Dar Holman

Hollman. I just don't see a world where Hollman has a shot. He's outside only. He's small. He's not very good.
At least everyone has a body to play both inside and outside.

Well Jackson and Holman can't play corner or ST, so give me the other 3.BSA wrote: ↑27 May 2021 16:56DB coach Jerry Gray on Josh Jackson:

We only keep 2 of those after we get Surtain in the AR Denver trade.

I still think he'd be fine in the right system. Pettine wasn't it and I don't think Barry is either, but he likely has MORE of a shot here now, with a lot of zone coverage and split safety deep help, than he did previously. He needs to be on the boundary and protected deep.

Man, Stokes, Jaire and Surtain for the next 5 years, that would be nuts.Ghost_Lombardi wrote: ↑27 May 2021 19:54We only keep 2 of those after we get Surtain in the AR Denver trade.
But yeah only thing I'm interested in from Denver is 1st or 2nd year players or draft picks. Can't take on any salaries.
Fant and Surtain would be right at the top of my list.

Aand they eat Chubb's salary before trading him.

In this case I would probably prefer Teddy and just plan on him being a space holder and not the solution. I dont see the Lock hype even though I like the kid.

I still have a hard time believing that AR will be playing for anyone but us this year. The Pack holds all the cards.
If he's traded in June, he is still a huge cap hit both this year and next. Could we afford to take vets in trade? Do we then cut a couple of high-priced vets to cover our salcap butts this season? Do we then kiss Adams and Tonyan goodbye after this season? As much of a crapshoot as draft picks can be, does Gute gamble our future on picks to get rid of a disgruntled player (who could easily cost Gute his job if AR is successful with his new team)? I think not. The safe way is let Aaron cool his heels. Let him look like the petulant child.
As for salcap room, l think we are going to see two or three of the no-show WRs punch their ticket outta town. Good riddance.

OH it's an open practice day! YaY!
Also, Bakhtiari is your week one starter. Absolutely
Hopefully we will finally stop hearing "10 to 12 months" about ACLs this decade.
