To be fair, neither has Myers or Stokes. It is projection.

Very true. I haven't voted for either of them yet either. I would Myers before either Love or Stokes though.

Why didn't I read anything about him from yesterday?NCF wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:02He's been with the 1's the whole time at LG, I think, but likely because Jenkins kicked out to LT in the first practices and has missed time since.

Easy to get lost in the shuffle.

My concern on voting for Runyan is that when Bakh and Jenkins are in, he's back onto the bench, with Patrick retaining the RG spot. So is he the 4th iOL? Where do you vote the 4th iOL? Certainly not in the top 22.
Initially was thinking Love but Paco's last post changed my mind. It's a good point. Yeah, Love may start at QB but he may not be any good. If he's yanked by week 3 for ineffectiveness, which doesn't seem an unreasonable turn of events considering how reports of his lost season and struggles thus far have gone, where does that put his 2021 value?
I'm going Stokes. I think his talent gets him on the field sooner rather than later. That, and King - even if he does beat him out - hasn't been the most available player in his tenure with the Packers.
Also, if it is Love starting at QB, I suspect our defense will see quite a bit of field time, too.

Shouldn't matter. The depth of each team is different. The 4th IOL might be one of your top 20 players. Some other teams 5th safety might be top 20. Judge the player, not the position or spot on the depth chart. That's how I look at it anyway.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:39My concern on voting for Runyan is that when Bakh and Jenkins are in, he's back onto the bench, with Patrick retaining the RG spot. And the glory of Waldo's rules shines through yet again.
I view it as a "impact on the 2021 season" ranking. And so a guy who is a backup and requires an injury to get onto the field will have less impact than a starter, even a 60% of the snaps kind of starter.
Personally, I don't think Patrick is a lock for the starting line-up. He is on a contract that pays him as a swing IOL. He wasn't a preferred starter out of camp last season. I think RG is a wide open battle.

Indeed. I will amend that I do take into account impact this season as well when deciding between players.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:46And the glory of Waldo's rules shines through yet again.

So why aren't more people voting for Lazard?!

I am too, have been for a while. I believe he will have 750+ receiving yards this year.paco wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:49Indeed. I am definitely into the bubbling competition between 23's expectations for Lazard and go pak go's expectations for MVS.
Haven't even got to NCF's expectations for Funchess, yet... but I think a lot of it comes at the expense of Lazard's playing time.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:55I am definitely into the bubbling competition between 23's expectations for Lazard and @go pak go's expectations for MVS.

I actually went with Amari Rodgers here. Lazard disappointed me last year.
If you are going to be a possession WR, then CATCH THE FREAKING BALL.
He wasn't stellar, but he only recorded 4 drops and had a 71.7% catch rate. To compare Hopkins had 71.7%. Justin Jefferson 70.4%. Davante 77.2%go pak go wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 10:10You think it's a competition?YoHoChecko wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:55I am definitely into the bubbling competition between 23's expectations for Lazard and @go pak go's expectations for MVS.

That was 28th best WR rate btw.

He dropped some major balls in the NFC Divisional Round and he didn't fight hard enough on the interception in the NFC Title game.paco wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 10:17He wasn't stellar, but he only recorded 4 drops and had a 71.7% catch rate. In fairness, Lazard was wide open and Rodgers didn't see him but another time Lazard ran the wrong route.
When you don't have a lot of speed, or jukiness, you better be awesome at what you do well and down the stretch Lazard really struggled in January. He did have some great plays vs the Rams, but it should have been even better.
So with all these guys coming into their own, coupled with Dillon and Jones being more involved in the passing game, we might as well bump Amari Rodgers off the list until we hit 40 or so...NCF wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 10:01Haven't even got to NCF's expectations for Funchess, yet... but I think a lot of it comes at the expense of Lazard's playing time.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑09 Jun 2021 09:55I am definitely into the bubbling competition between 23's expectations for Lazard and @go pak go's expectations for MVS.

It's too bad that this misconception won't die.
