Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2020 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).
Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Going to try out BF004's suggestion of multiple choices.
Time to get DT2 up on the board. Lowry is steady but meh, and Keke is the rising inside rusher.

Keke....again. Hes the next best lineman about to take off this year. Big upgrade to Lowry who is not good
Throwing a vote to Kamal. But would be happy voting Keke here.

We hope, would love a sizable upgrade from Dean, not sure if Keke is that guy. Love the flashes he brings in the pass game, but struggles against the run and has had availability issues.Backthepack4ever wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021 17:18Keke....again. Would love to see him put it together this year, but not putting him ahead of ‘ol reliable big mean Dean yet.
Mean Dean

Voted for our starting QB and Jon Runyan who I think will start at guard.
I cannot vote for a Dlineman that can rush the passer well but is a huge liability against the run. I thought about Lowry but he will likely be a rotational player. I thought about Amari Rodgers but a small slot receiver is a liability on a run first team and if you put him on the field you pretty much tell the D that a pass is a 90% probability. A guard, however, is an every snap player

That's where you just put Rodgers in the jet sweep and actually occasionally give it to him once and a while. I couldn't make heads or tails if he is a plus, minus, or in between blocker, just no clue, size isn't the only factor, but his ability to freeze a linebacker or safety is probably just as valuable as someone, like Lazard, who can come and crack down on an edge or LB.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021 20:35Voted for our starting QB and Jon Runyan who I think will start at guard.

Rodgers and Keke for me, tough choice between the up and coming Keke and who may have platou'd Lowery, Amari had my vote yesterday, he was first choice today, not sure what it is that people fail to see what Erving brought to the offense last year, and how that will most likely be enhanced With Amari this season
I just don’t think Lowry is a good football player so it’s hard to vote for him at any point. For the money, and when you factor in value...I actually preferred Lancaster.
I Do Not Hate Matt Lafleur
Yeah, me too: liability against the run, then just kind of average as a pass rusher. Lancaster kind of the reverse. Joe Barry is said to run a one-gap scheme, which I think could make Dean look a little bit better than he has looked for the past few years by letting him attack the ballcarrier more; it's possible he rebounds a bit.
But Keke is a better pass rusher. He also needs to get better against the run, but I'm hoping that another year in the weight room will make a difference there, and being in a more attacking scheme should also help him in that department.
Sullivan and Keke were my votes.

I’m surprised Deguara isn’t getting much love. He got hurt super early last year but it was clear LaFleur had plans for him as a rookie. I can only imagine what’s in store for him year two.
