He can't just retire and come back and not be traded/released. We would own his rights.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
Pack should just move him now - he is the leader of the team and he doesn't want to be here.
Everyone is expecting him to go somewhere and do well and pacK to do bad, so if that does happen it was expected but if it doesn't it will look like everything worked out.
We aren't going to win a Superbowl this year. Jaire can't cover the whole field and our wrs are the same.
We used major assets on building the future packers instead of making the most competitive team ... Time to get into that rebuild asap and don't prolong it.

I thought today was the last day?

Rodgers side stepping questions again. While I assume he’s coming back and all, I definitely like him a lot less after this. I hope Jordan Love is good because he seems nice.
So was Rodgers. Never idolize a human. 100% chance they'll disappoint you.
RIP JustJeff
Rodgers is acting like when a parent takes their kid to Disney world and they are driving there but still try to convince the kids they are just driving to an out of town grocery store for a good deal.
Everybody is like “what are you doing”, but to the dad it’s the funniest thing ever.
Kind of weird.
Go Bucks.

Exactly. I learned my lesson. I loved Rodgers, genuine man crush. But I knew it probably wouldn't last. It hasn't. Damn kids.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑06 Jul 2021 21:34I like to phrase it "kill your heroes before they kill you" but some seem to think it's literal and therefore awfully harsh

Your post reminds me of childhood trips to Marriott's Great America while growing up in Sheboygan. Like almost to a "T"...
Rodgers, Favre and Jennings were probably my largest man crushes I ever had. Not a good list. My peak NFL fandom was probably 2006 - 2010.paco wrote: ↑06 Jul 2021 21:42Exactly. I learned my lesson. I started to lose my crush on Rodgers after he won the SB. You could just tell he started to look like a different dude than the 2008 - 2010 Rodgers.
And it started going even lower after 2015. By the late 2010's I kind of figured I knew who he was but he was still our leader. I genuinely did get my love for him back in 2020. I mean I hard core man crushed him last year.
I don't think I will ever wear his jersey though again now. I am trying to figure out who my new jersey I will wear on home games will be.
I don't know much about man crushes, I suppose people think I have one with Rodgers, just like I had one with Favre, just like I had one with Starr, or Taylor, or now also with Aaron Jones, or with ...........???????? actually there all my hero's if they help the team win week after week and year after year.
I watched sadly as all my Favs (heros) from the 60's got old, and I'll be disappointed to see Rodgers tenure end to, none of what he's done lately will matter to me, not watching him play on Sundays will matter far more, excellence has a short shelf life, I cherish stuff like that far more now then I ever did, and Rodgers has provided me with some great flashes of it, and thats all that really matters.

Cancelled by the forum elites.
We watched that golf match yesterday. Rodgers did a nice job. He hinted about telling us his intentions later this week? I have a feeling he'll be back. Perhaps it is my woman's intuition?

He (AR) says he has been "working on himself." Is his behavior the last few months supposed to be his improved self?
