Tried to buy just under $34 towards the end of the day yesterday, but was on a work call and ended up not pulling the trigger without checking for a little more research or news at the time. Stupid work, think I need to become a full time day trader.

Just looking to retire within the next 9 months, is that too much to ask.

In my eyes, we already won the war, just waiting on Citadel and the like to surrender. I'll happily wait as long at they need to keep digging their grave deeper. They could have covered at 10, or 8, or 5.40, they didn't, why would they cover at $35.

They gotta return millions of those shares borrowed at $2-$3 dollar one day and I will be there for it. :king:

Was watching the Level 2 for a bit this morning. There were more shares bought than sold, by a pretty healthy margin.

The ask is getting smashed today. Is this the reversal?

Sold one of my $80 calls for Sept 18 right at about $38 this morning thinking we might have a little pullback with the RSI up in the 90's there.

My speculation always so bad, want to be done guessing soon.

Maybe she'll go back to $36 and I can buy a better call with that money. Just need to be a dumb ape, buy the ask and hodl. :lombardi:

Might try to convert all my calls to like December and just play an inevitable rip again. But those are so expensive and if this takes another 2-3 months, gunna lose out on a lot of theta.

Have shorts been returned yet?

Actually got about $500 more last week in the $29’s. Glad I stopped playing options for time being. Still want to. Just not sure when a reversal will come, theta decay killing anything now, so just buying stocks.

Opened about $41 today. (7/8)

>20 million additional shorts to drop the price $3 and now pushing $50 again right now. This eventually going to 3 digits sooner than later even if it doesn’t ‘squeeze’.
Still tightening the noose there. Longer than I was hoping and bigger price drop than I was holding.

But watch that utilization as it approaches 100%, cost fee to borrow gunna rise and people/hedge funds literally can’t short it anymore, which will create a lot of bullish sentiment.

We ripped to 72 from about 12 last time as utilization maxed out. Might be looking around 25-35 next time it does, which is surely will.

Tons of credible statistical analysis out there now too putting total shares around 1.5-2 billion, meaning an egregious amount of synthetic shares. Which we have been predicting all along and the unknown key to the puzzle than can make this go from like 80/100 ceiling to legit crazy numbers like 4-5 digits.

I don't know how many shares you own but have you thought about writing calls while we wait for the squeeze?

I've thought about selling some covered calls while waiting, maybe about 7-8 days out only. But even selling like a $45 call right now is only like $120 bucks. Dont like the risk of that and potentially having to sell 100 shares if its going up lol. I know I could buy 100 shares as we approach or hit $45 to hedge myself, but still, would need $4500 on hand at that time to do so and I'd have to watch the stock really closely during that time.

To stressful for $100 for me.

Starting to look like mid May again.

Blackrock bought 6 million shares over the last week or two and they’ve been known to lend them out for shorting. That is likely why the utilization isn’t higher despite short interest and borrowed shares being up.

But that is just about the highest the short interest has even been, looking like May. A borrowed share/share on loan isn’t necessarily shorted, but it could be.

NSCC-2021-010 apparently took effect today, 8/24. Was today a result of smaller hedge funds covering?

I've joined a discord where we've gotten in on a few other plays. Made some good cash on SPRT and BBIG, back into BBIG and ATER right now. Wanted to get back into SPRT around $20 as well, but have no capital there. Calls are so crazy expensive there with the IV so high right now and that has a higher ticker, still think its a solid play, just don't have 500-1000 laying around to gamble on call with decent expiration length.

Kind of fun playing these, no emotional buy and hold like AMC and GME, just get a few cheap calls, lock in some profits, play with house money, get out whenever you want.

Proceeds went to buying AMC stock.

$48.50 is the new $14.50 for AMC. Has had about 4-5 tests of it now, broken through a few times, but never held, but just keep testing it and testing quick and quicker, with higher lows each time in between. Think you'll see a real nice tecnhical breakout run to like 52-55 once it does get a clean break. Who knows after that, maybe just reconsolidate, maybe gamma squeeze, maybe some smaller hedge funds start to return their shares and it starts getting froggy.
