Haha the announcer hyping up Jackson saying he has a nact for being where the ball is was funny

Good Coverage by Scott. Would have like to see him try and catch that though.

56 seconds is perfect situational football to try to get in position for 3, here.

Great play by Vernon Scott. But honestly, I think he misread it...that could have been a pick six.

Sucks that we looked like we’d have the ball with 1:25 or so and a timeout, but that penalty knocked it down to a minute and no timeouts
OK, the Nijman experiment is over.

Wish we could see who Love was trying to toss to there.

Njiman has been garbage. Love had the opportunity to step up there though. He needed to feel that pressure.
Jackson out, Ento in.

Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
Love has the tools. Appears aloof at times. Really promising and beautiful third drive.
The OL was almost a little too poor to really judge him off of that first half. Hope we see him a bit in the third...

I was holding out hope for Nijman, but he just can't convert athleticism into good OT play (kinda like Spriggs).
Love is looking OK, but playing one hand behind his back due to vanilla play calling and no running game.
Both teams treating this as glorified practice, which is smart.
The Good:
1. Jordan Love - honestly he has played at or above expectations. His accuracy has been good. His pocket presence has been good. His arm is a bullet. His leadership seems good. Definitely feared worse.
2. Devin Funchess - He is a man amongst boys tonight. It is presason so take with a grain of salt. But this guy looks legit. Definitely deserving of a roster spot and I think can get some serious playing time and production this year.
3. Oren Burks - is it August 2018?
4. Kylin Hill - this dude is a baller. We have 4 LEGIT weapons with quickness with Jones, Hill, Cobb and Amari. Add that with Tonyan and I am excited to see what the Packers do in the middle of the field.
4.. Kabian Ento! - thank God someone is stepping up besides Jackson. Couldn't be a more one-sided competition right now for that 6th CB spot.
The Bad:
1. Josh Jackson - he is done.
2. Offensive Line - I am actually concerned here. I thought this would be a strength for us this preseason because of how deep we are. Everyone is getting owned. I wish we could just blame Nijman but it's been everyone. There is no push. They have gotten man handled all night.
3. Special Teams
4. 3rd down defense.
5. James Lofton talking

Kevin Harlan deserves an Emmy just to keep the ship moving along with him.
I for the life of me can't understand why the Packers can't get James Jones to do it. Like at this point it has to be that Jones has said no. Because Lofton is clearly a scrap heap, bottom of the list, option.

This local stuff with no halftime BS is great. No commercials either.
We haven't seen Love since he last played in college. It was a long time ago. He has all the physical skills needed. The only real test left comes once it is regular season and there is game film that opposing DCs breakdown. We won't see that unless Rodgers gets injured or leaves after this year.
