Expectations for the 2021 season

It's a convincing SB win for me.
Just like last year, and the year before, and the year before, and the year before...

Packer fans should always expect to win a SB, anything less, and you should change your name to Sally,
Gotta win that SuperBowl. I'm not one of those people who thinks any season where we don't is a "bust" but this squad is crazy stacked and as "all in" as a team can get. It's not just on-paper, either; we have also been playing like a top dog lately as well.
We have everything that we need to bring a trophy home, just gotta seal the deal.

If MLF made Joe Barry promise not to be in single high safety with 5 seconds left in either half, EVER, then I say Super bowl or bust! If it's not in Barry's contract all bets are off.
I feel like 1 of 2 things are going to happen this season:
1. Packers steamroll and win the Super Bowl.
2. There is obvious regression and Rodgers just isn't into it or seems to be regressing and by 3/4 into the season, everyone is ready to move on from him.

I said deep playoff run. This team has been void of killer instinct under AR's leadership. I'll believe it when I see it.
I expect version 3 of LaFleur's O to be ridiculous. Can't wait to see it.
I have no idea how Barry will run this D, considering he's essentially got the same tools as Pettine had. It'll be easy to compare. Will make for a great learning experience.

I expect to have innumerable moments of unbridled joy as the Mighty Green Bay Packers embark on their 2021 journey across the NFL.

boy people really do hate Rodgers, and will blame him for anything, when he's actually been the best player on the field in most of the PO games that we both won and lost, I guess the only QB we've had with KILLER instinct was Bart Starr, never mind that he was surrounded with HOF players.Captain_Ben wrote: ↑07 Sep 2021 13:13I said deep playoff run. never understood how fans can be so negative about this team.
I mean to be fair, a significant amount of your posts since the evening of January 24, 2021 have been very negative about this team.Yoop wrote: ↑08 Sep 2021 15:32boy people really do hate Rodgers, and will blame him for anything, when he's actually been the best player on the field in most of the PO games that we both won and lost, I guess the only QB we've had with KILLER instinct was Bart Starr, never mind that he was surrounded with HOF players.Captain_Ben wrote: ↑07 Sep 2021 13:13I said deep playoff run. People have always hated Rodgers. Even at his peak fans have always nit picked him. I think it has to do with his demeanor and wanting win. The over population of males with feminine qualities in this generation hate winners. We used to call them bitches.

I don't think so, they have been negative towards the people in charge of building and managing this team, there is a difference.go pak go wrote: ↑08 Sep 2021 16:25I mean to be fair, a significant amount of your posts since the evening of January 24, 2021 have been very negative about this team.Yoop wrote: ↑08 Sep 2021 15:32boy people really do hate Rodgers, and will blame him for anything, when he's actually been the best player on the field in most of the PO games that we both won and lost, I guess the only QB we've had with KILLER instinct was Bart Starr, never mind that he was surrounded with HOF players.Captain_Ben wrote: ↑07 Sep 2021 13:13I said deep playoff run. The team is championship-caliber. Rodgers probably was the best player in many of those games. He also choked in some key games. The fact is that the Packers saw better results when AR was a youngin and there were veterans like Woodson and Driver in the locker room as the primary leaders.Yoop wrote: ↑08 Sep 2021 15:32boy people really do hate Rodgers, and will blame him for anything, when he's actually been the best player on the field in most of the PO games that we both won and lost, I guess the only QB we've had with KILLER instinct was Bart Starr, never mind that he was surrounded with HOF players.Captain_Ben wrote: ↑07 Sep 2021 13:13I said deep playoff run. The games Rodgers supposedly chokes in are the games where the team plays so abysmally bad it’s insurmountable.Captain_Ben wrote: ↑08 Sep 2021 18:43The team is championship-caliber. People talk about Seattle 2014 but forget Rodgers drove the ball down the field to tie the game and send it to OT against one of the leagues best defenses on the road. He didn’t play well but most QBs don’t in that situation. He did everything he had to win in that situation until that turd dropped an onside kick.
You have the Cardinals in 2009 where he missed the throw in OT to an open Jennings which was unfortunate but fault should have been placed on the defense for even being there when more TDs are thrown than incompletions.
2011 his team fumbled away that game after barely fumbling much of the season.
2012 and 13 against those 49ers teams that were far superior. Our defense could never stop Kaep.
2015 he has no receivers with Jordy out on the ACL, Cobb injuring his lung on the microphone taped to his chest, and Adams out with the ankle. Somehow he ties the game and sends it to OT only to never touch the ball because Randall thought we were playing zone when we were in man and turned Fitz loose.
2016 we had no business being in the NFCC. Rodgers willed an absolutely atrocious team to the playoffs and through a tough Giants team on the road.
Last year maybe you can say he choked but that teams hit the bed. I thought Rodgers played well for as god awful Turner, Lazard, and Wagner played on offense. Keven King set a new level for those who fall on the spectrum.
The narrative that Rodgers chokes is one of the most absurd.

Why the $%@# are we going over this for the 100th $%@# time... We play the $%@# Saints in less than 96 hours to start the 2021 season with arguably the best roster and coaching staff we have had in the last decade. $%@#!

I meant to write Cowboys in the divisional round. Not sure why I wrote Giants.
I was at that Cowboys game. What a performance.

It's all $%@# stupid. 1 thing said about Rodgers that is a "criticism" and the $%@# knives comes out and we have to rehash how Rodgers was blameless or close to it in all the previous $%@# games and if you don't believe that you are $%@# Rodgers hater. It's $%@# tedious and $%@# stupid. For $%@# once, can we all agree that Rodgers is a very $%@# good QB and that very $%@# good QB has made $%@# mistakes... Then hopefully get on with seeing that this is arguably the best team in a decade.
