Once again someone needs to rethink their Turner narrative. It is beyond pathetic at this point.

I do know Preston was showing up early in the game. Can't say how he was moving along.
Stokes needs more snaps and more outside snaps.
Burks I think, was mostly garbage time. But his abilities should be used more in certain situations.

Too valuable. Gonna pay him SOOOOOOOOO much money.
RIP JustJeff
Given how well he plays at literally any OL position you put him at, it honestly would not shock me if he balled out as a DL.

Point out that Tampa lost last year by a similar score is not that comforting considering that was a playoff-bound Saints team led by a HOF QB who, while clearly aging, tended to look pretty good at the start of the season.
Winston had the talent to be a #1 overall pick and I can believe he may turn things around under Payton's watch, but this NO team will not look that good more than three of four games this year.

Not meant to be comforting. Meant to dispel the notion that Super Bowl winning teams don't get blown out.Labrev wrote: ↑13 Sep 2021 11:31Point out that Tampa lost last year by a similar score is not that comforting considering that was a playoff-bound Saints team led by a HOF QB who, while clearly aging, tended to look pretty good at the start of the season.

Working on it.

Rashan Gary was very good yesterday. It really sucks because one he had a sack on 3rd but Winston was able to evade and run for a first down (Gary needs to learn from that). The other Gary had a great pressure on 4th down but Amos was just so out of position and didn't cover the Tight End. Would have been an easy interception or sack if Amos didn't screw up so bad.
why? imo they looked as good as the Bree's led team last year, Funny how a new scheme and atmosphere can turn a player thats under performed for his old team into a much better player for his new one, we saw it happen with Hayward and Hyde recently and years ago with Woodson, players and coaches get in a rut just like normal people do and become almost unteachable, it take a new approach, a new voice to unlock the potential.Labrev wrote: ↑13 Sep 2021 11:31Point out that Tampa lost last year by a similar score is not that comforting considering that was a playoff-bound Saints team led by a HOF QB who, while clearly aging, tended to look pretty good at the start of the season.

I saw some of that yesterday with Goff to, and Winston looked sharp, no reason to think his play wont continue.
