Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."

Extremely dumb, and highly unlikely, thought from Paco....
If they vote in Collins and Driver on this ballot, I'll give up asking for Butler to get in.

Interested to see what they go with on the line.
Turner at LT, JRJ at LG, Meyers at C, Newman at RG, Kelly at RT is my guess.
That is incredibly ugly.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
I almost prefer they give Nijman his shot and give him LOTS of help.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021 14:14Interested to see what they go with on the line.

I probably prefer this unless Dennis Kelly has looked way better than Ricky Wagner, which I"m doubting.NCF wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021 14:19I almost prefer they give Nijman his shot and give him LOTS of help.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021 14:14Interested to see what they go with on the line.

Going to be a really tough decision with Crosby after this year. Cap, age, etc. But how do you let a guy go who has been as good as he has been?

Not to be the bearer of weird news, but our run D might actually be above average?
Not saying that only RB runs should count or anything. But we have yet to play a team whose QB runs are actually part of the run game; thus far QB runs have been scrambles. The 49ers also had runs by WRs (3) and a TE (1 by Kittle). And I'm not discounting that.
But when you're looking at run D, you're more interested in how the team defends more conventionally running plays. And so looking at RB runs may be informative at the least, and like...
Not too shabby and consistent improvement and no matchups yet with scrub OLs or anything.

Mason Crosby is one of my favorite stories because it rewarded loyalty, multiple chances and belief in your guy.
Most of the sports world is of the Lupe mentality of "fire his a$$" immediately. Crosby should have been that a long time ago. And yet the Packers loyalty has been immensely rewarded.

I'm finally going to start buying the "Jenkins is an OT in the future" crowd based on the way the iOL pulled together last night.
How exciting is it to have young guys like Jenkins, Myers, Newman, and Runyan locked in together for a couple more years, and another one considering Jenkins isn't leaving.
Like, look at the contract status of our OL after this season:
Turner: one more year
Jenkins: one more year
Bakhtiari: two more years
Runyan: two more years (including the ERFA year)
Newman: three more years (including the ERFA year)
Myers: three more years

Right now the Packers defense ranks 9th in the NFL in terms of yards allowed.
