A reporter: There's 7 seconds left. No timeouts. You're about to go out there. What does Rodgers say to you? What's that conversation like?

Y'all, some people may have thought we weren't up to the task tonight. Others had faith. But ya know what? We're all danged happy right now. The right, the wrong. We're all overjoyed. Let's nbot worry too much about who was saying what yesterday. Unimportant. We're feeling great

I was one who didn't give us a chance and I stand by it. The 49ers are the same ole 49ers at their important positions. Their 2ndary is downgraded but we had our two All Pro Olinemen out and still pushed them around. We didn't see that vs the Saints, Bucs, 49ers 2019, Chargers 2019.texas wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 22:59Idk, I just know several people weren't giving us a chance because of the 2019 NFCCG. My position was that I didn't know what would happen (and that it was certainly possible that we would be blown out), because this is a different 49ers team than the one that heavily outmatched us. There's definitely a time to not give us a chance, but tonight wasn't it.
This was just so gratifying. And our defense held them to 14 points. Just super proud of the Packers tonight.

I'm frustrated with some of the end-game decisions between Rodgers and MLF, so this drifted from my mind, but helluva game plan by MLF tonight. I mean he really mixed it up with the play calling and all. I know Shanahan is a little more creative, but I don't think there's much reason to think MLF is not due the exact same credit Shanahan gets leaguewide as a play-caller. MLF was the better coach tonight.

Their D Line is way worse now. That was really the main change I had in mind. Entirely different ballgame when Rodgers can actually throw. Their 2019 D Line was like best in the league, and didn't they have like 5 1st-round picks? They might still be good, but they're not what they were.go pak go wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:06I was one who didn't give us a chance and I stand by it. Absolutely. That play to Adams for the first TD was terrifically schemed. That’s a playoff play. LaFleur wanted this one.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:09I'm frustrated with some of the end-game decisions between Rodgers and MLF, so this drifted from my mind, but helluva game plan by MLF tonight. I’m listening to Tauscher and Homer and Tauscher is convincing me that LaFleur and Shannahan really have some bad blood now. They were both making some incredible calls that had so much deception and misdirection. I think both really wanted this one.
And then the handshake at the end…

Honestly? If so, good. He got owned when he was besties with the whole staff (though I still always thought that was more Saleh, just because they're closer, go back longer, and are actually scheming offense versus defense).lupedafiasco wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:16Absolutely. Kinlaw isn’t good, young, but leaning bust. Jones has come out of nowhere to be quite a player though.go pak go wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:19Still have Jones. Bosa, Armstead. Before game: "We're playing a REAL contender. We gonna lose"
Packers win.
After game: "They weren't that good, used to be better. We'll lose when we play a REAL contender."
Thus the Packers can't even theoretically ever beat a REAL contender.
That’s why after ptsd of 2019 and the Saints game I didn’t even know if I could imagine a big win on the west coast against a good team. Not that I saw it I am ecstatic and painful memories of the past Can begin to fade. Rodgers said it himself in his presser, this felt like a growth moment to win a game like this..and now the team can gooooo. His words, I agree.salmar80 wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:30I love the absurdity of:go pak go wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:19Still have Jones. Bosa, Armstead. Added Kinlaw.texas wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021 23:12
