From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Yeah. Definitely a rough day for Aaron Rodgers (again).
I mean, yes. The first quarter was miserable. He was ruining things. Then he went on a 20 of 22 streak in the middle of the game. Then he started playing like a good player but not a great one at the end. I just don't know what to make of all these performances that were SO uneven.
And yeah, the uneven play all may stem from the uneven OLine, which would bog down any team with 3 startes (2 pro bowlers) missing all at once.
I mean the one positive is people can't point on the Aaron Jones fumble now being gifted to us. Bengals actually started in better field position because of it
I am shocked the Packers won this. The D was missing its 2 best players. The Oline was in shambles. Yet the D played well. Rodgers needs to do better than this but he did make the big play when he absolutely had to. Jones needs to quit putting the ball on the ground.
Wow, honest answer from LaFluer when asked if it ever crossed his mind not to kick a FG, he said it did.

Honestly I thought we would lose this game considering we were on the road and down Bak, Alexander, Jenkins, Z, and MVS.
I’m very happy we came away with a win. Don’t give two &%$@ how it’s down when it’s a win.
Things to clean up is still the FG unit after 3 weeks. Idk how you don’t fix that after 1 but whatever. The redzone defense needs a lot of work. Defense has the advantage in those situations but they struggle defending backs in the redzone. I really think once the team crosses the 30 Barry needs to stop playing backups. I get he wants to save our pass rushers for 3rd downs but our best players need to play when points are on the line.
Offensively I think things will get cleaned up once we get 2 all pro lineman and a starting center back. It is a testament to Rodgers greatness, his holiness, his almighty big willyness, that we did anything today on offense.
By and large very happy with our Dline, our ILBs and our CBs. Felt Amos sucked right away but then got into the game and Savage....man that play just sucks.
Disappointed in Rashan Gary. I just feel like his "stats" make him look better than he is. There were some plays we really needed him to make a play. Especially toward the end and he just didn't do it.
And man. Jamaar Chase was awesome today. We got his best for sure.
I thought stokes played chase well. He was sticky on him. Chase made amazing plays but it wasnt bc the coverage was bad. I think we found a good one.
I agree with MF that he could have been more aggressive. the game plan was a little cute and passive at times. Could and should have scored 30 easy. They werent stopping us unless they knew it was a run or some silly wr screens.
We came in beat up at many spots took their best shot and still won. Thats what good teams do.
