Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
This is absolutely insane. I remember looking at the series record in the late 90's and early 2000's as an early fan and saying to myself, "there is no way we will ever catch the Bears in this series"
MN however was always neck and neck at that time.
It is unbelievable how much the Packers have dominated this thing the last 28 years.

yep the last 3 decades have been all packers, same with the 60's, this is a season by season, decade by decade wrap up courtesy of the Chicago tribune, so it's obviously centered on the best of the Bears bias, but still points out how we've fared over the years.
Bears OL is a mess to begin with, now they just put their starting RT, Ifedi on IR and Elijah Wilkenson will likley get the call to replace him
Which suggests that 39.5 yr old Jason Peters will be handling the LT duties on Sunday
Good thing its an early game, Peters can still get in his afternoon nap
I was pretty happy when they drafted Justin Fields. I expect to win, but their defense also is decent. But this is the Bears so we should be able to handle them.

I won't argue your point on King, but I will note that the decision around practicing/playing is usually in the hands of the medical team. The NFLPA campaigned hard for that one years ago - taking the decision away from the players and coaches.
I know it drives many fans nuts - but that's really the way it needs to be.
MLF said he is going to give King all week to see if he can make it - typically that means: "he's not going to play on Sunday"
