You take the best guy picked after our slot and say that’s who you wanted. And when/if that person is no longer as good as someone else, you just pick someone different. But the real trick is you have to really believe you liked the better players more.
Bonus points if you never once mentioned a player you ‘always loved’.

Hes missing a finer too. I think the story goes he was spotting someone and tried to rack the weight and a finger got caught and he lost it.NCF wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021 08:19Mercilus. Personal story. I saw that happen in high school to a kid. No blood, just crushed and unsalvageable.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑21 Oct 2021 08:38Hes missing a finer too. I think the story goes he was spotting someone and tried to rack the weight and a finger got caught and he lost it.

Are you sure?! I don't think anyone in their right mind would ever do that let alone harp on it for 18 months!

one of Teds best picks involved trading up, one of Gutes best picks was trading back then back up, I'am in favor of draft day trades

That's not true... we can always peddle Rodgers and keep Love!

Mike Smith says that 4 of the 6 QBs the Packers have faced are top 5 in quickest release this season, and Goff is 7th.
Fascinating stat relating to pressures and sacks and all things pass rush

It's why I tried to pick Gary in Here's Johnny.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021 08:57Related: "oh, this week will be great. He's at 3.3 seconds, to be exact. This one has 2 - 3 sack Gary all over it.

I am very interested to see how this defense performs against a better QB. I don’t think we have played anyone in the top third of the league. Maybe even half because I think from what I’ve seen from Burrow he’s kind of mid.
I think this defense is massively over performing considering the injuries but I also think there is plenty of room for growth. Getting Alexander back changes things obviously. If the red zone defense comes along, which I think it will, we have a very good unit. Right now they’re just blowing coverages in the redzone which is probably a result of inexperience in the defense and moving parts at ILB and slot CB.
I also keep saying it but I think when the Oline gets healthier the offense will massively improve which helps the defense. The more our offense score the more it puts pressure on the opposition to score which only helps us.
This team is winning playing kind of sloppy and hurt. That has a team that’s going to get hot written all over it.

I hope your right, his pressures are getting closer each week though towards that goal, Finally Gary is making me proud that he's a Packergo pak go wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021 09:31It's why I tried to pick Gary in Here's Johnny.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021 08:57Related: "oh, this week will be great. For the most part most defenses get carved up by good QBs. Even your good ones. The Bucs defense got carved up by Dak Prescot. It's why these types of games you want to get those 10 - 17 point turnouts with under 300 yards allowed on offense so you can absorb the higher level offenses from a statistical standpoint.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021 09:43I am very interested to see how this defense performs against a better QB. I think this defense is more fun to watch than last year's. I think they play with more energy, better tackling and less "fake confidence". I really like that.
But I also think they will get carved up vs AZ. I think we have as good a chance as any team vs top offenses and QBs with a healthy Alexander. But we don't if he isn't on the field. I'm not even getting into Z. He is a bonus at this point but this defense needs Jaire back.
What interests me also on Thursday is to see how we play against a mobile QB. I would say overall we passed the test vs Fields. Murray will be interesting to watch.

On Get Up this morning on ESPN, the consensus was "these aren't the same 13-3 Packers from a year ago" and so it inspired me to illustrate exactly how we're not the same, illustrated by our 2020 Pro Bowl players.
