Saints signed "QB" Taysom Hill to a two-year, $21 million contract. 16M guaranteed. Deal replaces his 4.6M tender.
I was wrong about him.

Honestly, this is pure Payton ego. There's a huge difference between being a nifty gadget wildcat player and being the heir apparent. Payton thinks her can maker that work. I look forward to watching the 2021 Saints bomb.

That immediately undoes my "arrogance of Payton" statement. They're covering bases.
But how do they have money to pay three QBs right now? I'm very confused by their cap.
How are we not talking about Jay Cutler's divorce?

I love how she asks her followers to “ respect their privacy” in the same social media statement announcing her imminent divorce.

Packers supposedly inquiring about Kenny Stills?
Would likely be a one year rental for 7m given his contract.
In this case I would almost prefer throwing a 6th or 7th to Houston to get that contract vs trying to negotiate against 31 other teams.

eek, i really dont think kenny is worth 7 million. Maybe if we have to spend i guess, but not sure about making cap space available to use it on him.

Yeah, Stills would be a nice addition after he's cut, but $7M is not great. Would much rather use that money on a DT
My coworker buddy has been saying the Packers would be a great fit for Stills for a while. It would at least give us a veteran for the MVS downfield role. Definitely an upgrade. But hopefully a cheaper one than $7M
It is the Texans, though, so we might be able to talk them into paying part of his salary for us

I would rather take Curtis Samuel for a 6th round pick.

Apparently that is the rumor. Why, no idea.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑29 Apr 2020 16:56Are the Panthers shopping Samuel? Why would they? That seems odd.

I'm excited for when the Packers add Samuel or Stills and Harrison or Dareus and the reaction, instead of being like "oh, they got it done afterall," will be like "SEE? This PROVES that they needed to draft someone, and now we're stuck with these veterans" (who are much more likely to make be immediate help)

I also think if the 49ers end up cutting Dante Pettis he could be a good fit with us. He just didn't see the field last year and now with Aiyuk...who knows.
But like. We need either Snacks or Dareus. I cannot emphasize enough how much we need to make that signing.
