Rodgers out with covid

He's in real danger of missing the Seahawks game too.

This upsets me so much. He expects the Packers to go all out for him but he can't even have the decency to prioritize his health.

I hope Jordan Love has an epic game...if he's not sick too.

I really thought this was a strong possibility once Benkert was out.

Surprised it took a positive test for the news to break. I have a hard time believing there were no contact issues between Benkert and Rodgers, even though it was reported Benkert was out of practice on Monday.

Rodgers vaccinated so close contact would not matter in the protocol.

Hopefully he makes a quick recovery and his body dismantles Covid as well as he dismantles defenses

This is a blessing if Rodgers comes back in two weeks and is all healed up and ready to go. It will be a great benefit to the Org to love in a big spot playing with the starters. Plus, he will get the full week to practice with the starters.

I get it. A lot of people are going to feel that way. Let's try to focus on the football side of this, though. Already been a few posters take issue to comments like this.

I mean it's not really a debate. If Covid wasn't politicized to begin with, it would be common knowledge that you should get your vaccines to keep yourself and your teammates healthy. Rodgers can no longer state that he's the "ultimate team player" or whatever he's said in the past.

Rodgers says he's "immunized." League says he's not vaccinated. So to me, it sounds like he's one of those "I had the virus and developed natural antibodies, so I consider myself safe/"immunized" and don't need the vaccine" types.

Which is a statement trying to parse the language and the implications of it, rather than an invitation to discuss the science or politics behind it.

We have to remember folks can still get it even if they are vaccinated. It appears both he and Adams were and still got it. Let's hope he recovers quickly and his immune system is even stronger against the virus going forward. It is also a good thing KC's defense isn't all that great. Any news if Bak will be back?
