Bortles is the first guy that comes to mind. He at least has veteran experience and experience with Hackett. Makes more sense than that camp arm we had.
Bortles is on his way to GB right now. This makes sense seeing he was in camp this summer.

That was a mistake in the tweet. Packers were favored by 2.5 Monday. Not sure how it became a tossup Tuesday. I didn't see that, but nothing that happened in the MNF game would support that movement of the line and our guys were coming back. :idn:

So, do we think Gutey called Phillip Rivers? He said he was willing to come back and play for the Saints.

I doubt it.

That wouldn't make any sense for Rivers because it would be so short term and he would be put in a position to be successful. Won't start. Won't know the playbook, will be a Practice Squad guy called up for 2 weeks on the Covid Designation and then cut.

The Saints make sense. He would be the guy. This doesn't make any sense for Rivers.

Hate to say it, but it may be best to just roll with Patrick from here on out. If Myers was a vet, that would be one thing, but he's a rook. Continuity is key on the OL, especially from your C, so it doesn't seem smart to me to $%@# with that by going back to a 1st-year player while we are gearing up for a Super Bowl run.

I sit corrected. Maybe not all summer but he has a better understanding of MFL's offense than any other FA QB out there right now.

The Good Morning Football crew keeps calling Jordan Love a third-year player. Like multiple people, multiple times. He's a second-year player.
