Really kind of like the timing of our remaining games
Sunday 7:20
Sunday 3:25
Saturday 3:30
Sunday 7:20
Sunday 12:00
Getting real used to sporadic start times and days of rest going into the playoffs.

You're right, they're not the same team they were last year at this point...they're better.go pak go wrote:Next level of comfort - Tampa losing one more. (only needs to lose on more. Their schedule isn't brutal but they are also not the same team as they were last year. They have the Bills, Jets and then the NFC South with two games vs Carolina. Carolina very much is the wildcard there in my mind.
The were 7-5 after week 12 a year ago, then it came together for them and they didn't lose another game on their way to a SB win.
At 8-3, their record is better than last year and they're not coming off a 2-game losing streak. They are playing appreciably better than last years squad at this point and it'd be naive to think they won't turn it on now that it's December like all good teams do.
My money says the Bucs get the 1 seed and the Packers the 2. I wouldn't mind that at all tbh. Give them a little of their own medicine on the way to our own SB win.

Do we have enough snaps now to say who was the better replacement LT between Yosh & Jenkins?
I keep wondering if the coaches should have just kept Jenkins at LG (or C if need be) and gone with Yosh right away.

An interesting question. Team is going to have a hell of a time keeping Nijman off the field next season.Crazylegs Starks wrote: ↑01 Dec 2021 14:17Do we have enough snaps now to say who was the better replacement LT between Yosh & Jenkins?

I would guess Jenkins grades higher than Nijman because he's just a better football player.
That said, I feel like the dropoff from Jenkins to Nijman is negligible, whereas replacing Patrick with Jenkins (as a result of playing Nijman at LT) is an appreciable upgrade/improvement. So in retrospect, I would have rather had Nijman out there and moved Jenkins inside.

I thought the left side of the line struggled this past week more than it has probably all season. Obviously you have to take into consideration the opponent.
I find it funny because all offseason I was the one defending this Oline and its depth. But now I feel I am the one spreading caution.
If we want to curve the grade based on our names vs their names, they did an adequate job when you consider Rodgers having really 0 sacks. But I largely attribute the Oline looking okay because of the offensive gameplan, Rodgers getting the ball out fast, the WRs beating their guy and AJ Dillon just wrecking people.
Billy Turner in particular has started to show a lot of inconsistencies this year. He has taken a step down from last year.

Not this year, only in the last 3 or so games. He was a rock the first half of the season.

Yeah. I would say I started to really notice it with the Chiefs and beyond.
