Yeah Dalton actually played pretty good.

First two INTs were because of the Bears Receivers dropping the ball in the rain. The 3rd INT was due to it being tipped at the line of scrimmage and the 4th was a bad throw on a screen pass. But honestly Dalton looked good enough to beat the Cardinals.

His receivers more or less let him down.

After the bye...

In 2019, we got steamrolled by SF, the same year they went to the Super Bowl. In 2020, we got steamrolled by the Bucs, the same year they won the Super Bowl.

The only logical conclusion at this point is that we're going to get steamrolled by the Bears and that the Bears are on their way to the Super Bowl.
:rotf: :rotf:
This hilarious logic can only be equaled by the “she’s a witch” scene by Monty Python. If you don’t know the reference find it on you tube.

Well done Acrobat!!

The OP has been updated with links to the abbreviated and full PDF versions of this week's Dope Sheet. Happy doping!

Something I did not know until perusing the Dope Sheet:
The Packers have held the Bears to 28 points or less in each of the last 27 games (every regular-season game dating back to 2008). The last time Chicago scored more than 28 against Green Bay was in a 35-7 win on Dec. 23, 2007. Prior to that game, the Packers had held the Bears to 28 points or less in the previous 27 consecutive contests, so since 1994, the Packers have held the Bears to 28 points or less in 54 of the last 55 regular-season meetings.
Thus proving the Bears have and still suck...

Surprise factoid no. 2 from this week's dope sheet:

Matt Nagy is 12-2 versus NFC North teams not located in Green Bay, WI.

I'd have never guessed that. Hopefully that's enough for us to be blessed with a long tenure for Nagy in Chicago.

Yeah I was talking to my Viking buddy earlier this year about the Vikings prospects and said I think MN has a pretty good chance "all they got to do is beat the Lions and Bears and they should be a WC team" and he was like, "dude we never beat the Bears. Especially in Chicago we never beat the Bears"

And that kind of took me back because I just take winning in Chicago so much for granted.

The only stretch I can remember the Bears having us was 2005 - 2008.

Lovie Smith swept us in 2005, 1-1 in 2006, swept us in 2007 and 1-1 in 2008.

the Bears need to do what Detroit did a couple years ago, like Detroit, the Bears issues stem from old family still running the team, George Hallas was a great football mind, but just like Al Davis from Oakland hung around a little to long and didn't trust out siders to take over, both kept football operations in the family handing the rains down to off spring, Virginia, now 97 married a McCaskey and they along with Ted Phillips have run the team since the 80's, and since the 85 SB winning team the Bears have sucked, time for new blood.

The board members include: George H. McCaskey, Virginia McCaskey, Ted Phillips, Brian J. McCaskey, Ed McCaskey Jr., Patrick McCaskey, Andrew McKenna and Pat Ryan.

You know you suck when Jay Cutler is your all-time leading passer.

PFT Picks ‘Em
Bears (+12) at Packers

MDS’s take: Chicago is playing out the last days of the Matt Nagy era, and I have a hard time seeing the Bears keeping this one close.

MDS’s pick: Packers 34, Bears 14.

Florio’s take: Aaron Rodgers can’t lose to that which he owns.

Florio’s pick: Packers 31, Bears 17.

2007 was revenge for 2001. In 2001, the Bears went 13-3 and were 0-2 against us. Chicago returned the favor in 2007. Funny how that seems to work, a lot.

That is one cool time lapse graphic. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to the game this weekend with a friend who admits (haha) he is a Bears fan. This will be the second item I will share with him. The other being Acrobat’s magnificent logic applied to events following recent GBP bye weeks. To that, my pal’s response was…

You need to stop!!😂😂😂not funny!! 😡😡

Once again, thanks Acrobat, I didn’t hesitate one moment to plagiarize your keen insight. :hail:

The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

It was really interesting listening to Mike Wahle this morning on Pack-A-Day Podcast talking about how he has much several Bears games this year and thinks they are better than their record indicates. What is even more interesting was his comment about how their struggles are primarily on defense where the players look like they don't know what they are supposed to be doing.

A Bears defense... clueless? Have we ever seen that before? Then I had to remind myself the possible cause... where have we seen utter confusion before?
