Honestly the Bears should have beaten AZ last week. It's just that the Cardinals always recovered their fumbles and this game ultimately came down to two plays:NCF wrote: ↑10 Dec 2021 12:20It was really interesting listening to Mike Wahle this morning on Pack-A-Day Podcast talking about how he has much several Bears games this year and thinks they are better than their record indicates. What is even more interesting was his comment about how their struggles are primarily on defense where the players look like they don't know what they are supposed to be doing.
A Bears defense... clueless? Have we ever seen that before? Then I had to remind myself the possible cause... where have we seen utter confusion before?
1. After a tipped pass to get Intercepted, Cardinals go for it on 4th down and Hopkins barely comes in with 1 foot on 4th down in the EZ.
2. Cole Kmet drops an easy pass to him on 3rd down that would have set up nearly 1st and goal for Chicago. Instead it gets intercepted on the tip and AZ takes it to the other side of the field inside the 10 (Murray scores on a scramble on 3rd and 10)
These two plays was nearly a 21 point tilt. It happened right away, and CHI had to play from behind ever since. But their run game was very effective vs AZ.
My “office” is the stadium concourse, although I do get to duck inside Fan Assistance 109 once in a while.
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

That is probably the most remarkable takeaway from that graphic.
Honestly though, how has a team as historic as Chicago managed to remain void of viable QB talent over the years? Can it be legitimately explained?

Bears at Packers
Bears WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) and RB David Montgomery (shoulder, groin) didn’t land injury designations, but QB Andy Dalton (left hand) and WR Marquise Goodwin (foot) are listed as doubtful. DT Mario Edwards (ribs) and DT Akiem Hicks (ankle) drew questionable tags.
LB De'Vondre Campbell came off the Packers’ COVID-19 reserve list Friday and he’s listed as questionable after getting in a limited practice session. LT David Bakhtiari (knee) and WR Randall Cobb (core) will not play.

Hicks has been downgraded to Out.

Not one bad seat in the house. Unless a bears fan is sitting in it.
