Anyone pick Ben Braden?
I’ll give a good shout out to both Stokes and Douglas.
Even on top of the pick 6, that guy has crazy confidence to break on routes. Not sure if he always has deep help or if he might get burned on that one day, but he is breaking before Fields even moves to his receiver on his progression. Pretty fricken crazy imo, guy playing with such crazy confidence, success and production given he was on PS 2 months ago. Might be priority resign over Devondre
Stokes isn’t gunna receive many accolades. But I bet he is gunna be star of the show during film review. Feel like I watched him a lot, and he was on Allen Robinson, a lot, and the guy was a fricken blanket the whole night. Not sure if Robinson is making some business decisions out there, but he just flat out wasn’t getting open, Stokes was just all over him all night.

Your page 3 reminder of who you can vote for. I've taken the liberty of highlighting the choice you all should make. Still debating my vote.

I can't vote for him but a pick 6 and a couple of pass defensed are hard to argue with. Lazard wasn't taken. Rodgers and Adams had good games but that is expected. Dillon was a beast but now that is expected too.
I think Mercedes Lewis played way beyond expectations and he gets my vote. But no one took him either. OK, Kenny Clark

Rodgers had a terrific game but it was SNF and it was against the Bears...nothing unexpected.
It's Douglas or Preston for me.
Post-game reports saying Preston was pretty vocal at halftime, getting on the defense over their collective poor level of play. Taking on the leadership role and willing the defense to play up to their abilities. The Bears scored 3 pts after the break.
His play and his putting a foot up the defense's arse are enough for me.
It's Preston by a nose.

After further consideration, I am voting Preston Smith.
Lazard had fallen so low in many of our eyes, no one even picked the starter. haha
He had a great game.
I also thought Campbell looked better than anyone weve seen in their Covid bounce back game.
I also thought Aaron Jones had a nice bounce back game. Seemed like hed taken a back seat to Dillon in terms of being impressive in the run game. His TD catch was a great catch, and his TD run employed a beautiful jump cut that worked because of the threat of him bouncing it outside.
Il select my vote here soon

lots of players deserve recognition for excellent play, the two that stand out to me are the same as most of you, Douglas is a QB's night mare, when they look at a receiver a tad long the person more likely to touch the ball is Rasul, Kid is sure a pleasure to watch play, love him.
Preston has become another fav, such a great bounce back season for him, led all pass rushers again, and not a easy task, the whole DL dominated the trenches again with 25 total pressures.
It's really tough to pick either over the other, both are so deserving, I'll also give this another day to sink in
after a day to mull this over ( coin flip) my vote goes to Rasul, between he and Campbell Guty gets accolades as a UFA Guru, a job well done

About that O-line...
Had somebody selected the O-line this week, I could see myself getting on board that train. Again.
That, even while playing the 3rd string LT, 2nd string LG, 2nd string C, a rookie mid-draft RG and 2nd string RT for nearly three quarters.Yoop wrote: ↑13 Dec 2021 10:49The Bears managed 4 pressures
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers passed for 341 yards and four touchdowns.
Rodgers averaged 9.2 yards per attempt with an 82.9% adjusted completion percentage. He threw the ball in 2.54 seconds and 7.7 yards downfield on average.
Jones had a 7.0-yards per carry average while Dillon finished at 4.7.
The Packers' stout offensive line gave up just four pressures, according to PFF's first review of the game film. Yosh Nijman was the only one with multiple pressures given up, as he gave up two, including the line’s one sack.

I wanna go Aaron Jones but I have to vote RASUL DOUGLAS.
I mean back to back weeks with pick 6s for a guy we snagged off the practice squad? That’s what Here’s Johnny is all about.

Kenny Clark, Preston Smith, Rasul Douglas, O-line and Rodgers all deserve consideration.
Kenny does the dirty work week in and week out. Casuals (like me!) don't truly recognize what he brings to the table. He always balls out.
Preston had himself a game. Gald he's starting to achieve some of his accelerators in his contract.
Rasul with another pick 6 and could have ended up with more? What's not to love about his game but his bar is starting to raise.
O-line wasn't perfect but given what we have to work with I thought they played really well.
Rodgers and the entire offense was a bit rocky in the first have but boy did they shove it down their throats in the second half. Gutey needs to do everything in his power to see that Rodgers finishes out his career in Green Bay. Rodgers orchestrated things perfectly.
All that being said, I'll cast my vote with Preston this week.

I think this is Stenavichs contract year I remember reading gossip that teams will try and steal him away, again not sure if that is true, but I'd hate to lose him, the OL imo has improved with both pass pro and run blocking.APB wrote: ↑13 Dec 2021 11:28About that O-line...

He has a bunch of history with us, both as a player and a coach, and I think he's from Wisc. so we have that in our favor.
The first guy with Pick 6's back to back games since Herb Adderly in 65. I'll give it to Rasul
Just because it was not unexpected when he plays like that you gotta give him his due. I doubt we win that one without him.APB wrote: ↑13 Dec 2021 07:50Rodgers had a terrific game but it was SNF and it was against the Bears...nothing unexpected.

Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
Oh I don’t doubt that! He’s certainly the game MVP within the context you’re implying.Pugger wrote: ↑13 Dec 2021 22:47Just because it was not unexpected when he plays like that you gotta give him his due. For this forum contest, tho, he doesn’t fit the underdog criteria nor did he have a performance noticeably greater than what should be expected of him. He’s his own worst enemy when it comes to this little competition, you could say.
I'm going with Rodgers. The numbers he put up were MVP worthy. The fact that most of it was in the 2nd half is even more impressive. Yes, we've come to expect it. Doesn't mean it isn't still something great.
Lots of other guys deserve recognition this week. But Rodgers deserves it as well for starting to play like an MVP these last few weeks.
